Dussindale Park Care Home

I have worked here for over 2 years and have many great experiences to share with new people coming into our home. I would love to talk about our care, our job roles and anything else with all visitors who come.

I’ve worked at Dussindale for over a year now , I love working there , it’s a friendly , inviting place to be , I love to make the residents smile to see them happy makes me happy , I would highly recommend.

Alexander is extremely abusive and should not be allowed to work with people, I feel for anyone who is left in the care of this disgusting example of a carer. Please review complaints made towards this person.

As a regular visitor to Dussindale (as a contractor) I have only ever witnessed happy, well cared for residents who I spend a lot of time talking to. I also deal with families as my work often takes me near to or into rooms/communal areas. Its always clean, well presented and the staff do a great job. Lovely place to visit and fabulous coffee!

Lovely home. Nice and clean place, good size of rooms. Staffs are professional. the service user have been well look after. I’ve been worked at dussindale park for 6 months on full time basis. The Managers Adina and her team Tina and Becky alway there to support. Most colleagues are nice friendly and professional especially the nurses they always there to help if needed. I am appreciated the time there. Only reason I left is there are some racist staffs, one of them is male chef. I avoid contact with him as he threaten foreign. He would said something to make me feel bad and treated me as second class of citizen at all time. I felt uncomfortable when he started to work. I never have this experience at any place. I’ve been work for Jark care, NRcare, Manacourt care, Nursing care, Hales and Blue bird before never a time poor teamwork. Another staff is day staff who is working for the company for along time and acting like she’s a manager! She think she’s better then anyone and would tried to make your work difficult instead of teamwork at all time. I saw she shouted screamed at other staff and the nurse had stepped in to stop the action. I’ve been working full time during Covid pandemic only off when I was infected. we always short of staffs everybody tried their best to support the service user and they have done the brilliant job. I expected to be treat with respect from the team but after tried for 6 months I decided it time to leave. Overall I had a great team with my night shift colleagues they all very good team and supportive.Ranee

Awful place. Never enough staff on duty to properly care for all the residents, even though the manager insists there is. Most of the carers try their hardest to get round to everyone but there are some staff who are lazy and do not treat the residents with the respect or dignity they deserve. As it currently is, I would not recommend it.

Homely, caring environment. The team at Dussindale work incredibly hard and collaboratively to ensure residents get great care. As a visitor I have been welcomed warmly on each of my visits. Great gardens and outside space and beautifully decorated internal spaces.

A friend is left to long to wait for help to go bàthroom , might be lucky if come back to help within an hour. I would not leave any member of my family there.

A great home,where the staff put lots effort into caring for the residents. I am part of the team for more than a year.Beautiful and clean home,wonderfully friendly staff. I can not say enough thank you to all the staff. They make me feel welcome from beginning into the Dussindale team.Thank you!
