I wish I had checked the reviews before going here! Make sure you get your price set and ask if they fully understand what you agree to! They told me 2 different prices then said it will be cheaper for cash, told me the hair was included and when I refused to pay cash they bumped the price up by £30! I’m absolutely disgusted and will not be returning! I paid £170 for my 12 year old to have Knotless braids! I highly advice you to avoid them at all cost!!

2 stars instead of 1 because they have pretty colour hair.I went there today because I needed some braid spray and edge control and didn’t want to drive into Reading. Firstly the lady didn’t speak to me, then was trying to talk to me from around the corner. They didn’t stock the one I usually use made by African Pride so asked for advice as the last one I brought was rubbish. I also asked which edge control product they would recommend for European braided hair. She responded with dunno, I don’t use the products just sell them. I’d expect, in an Afro hair shop for them to know what they are selling.

I have been coming to this place for over 1 year and I could not recommend it enough. Ola (shop owner and hairdresser) has everything you need. She sells the hair and the products. She is flexible and lovely to be around. She will advise you and keep track of your hair progress. Genuinely trustworthy.

I have been coming here for a couple years. And have been getting my hair done by the owner. This weekend I realised that I was paying a lot more than other customers. Prices are not advertised anywhere in the shop or online. It seems she makes them up person to person. I won’t be coming back. You’ve now lost out on a regular customer.

Absolutely stunning work. The cornrows did not hurt at all! My hair is very short as I’m transitioning back to natural but the lady gripped it neatly and it lasted longer than expected. Very clean salon with lots of goodies to buy as well. Highly recommend

I am new to Bracknell and stumbled across this place while walking past randomly one day. I went in to get my weave taken out and put back in, and couldn't recommend this salon enough... I have had a lot of terrible experiences at afro salons in the past where the customer service and quality of the service was not up to standard so I am always incredibly nervous to try new salons, however the Hair & Beauty Palace has exceeded expectations and I couldn't be happier. The team are lovely and knowledgable about hair care, recommending the right treatments and make you feel welcome from the moment you step through the door- I loved the experience and my new hair, and I'll definetly be back again soon! Thank you!

Despite the reviews, I chose to take a chance with this place and have since had my hair done beautifully in knotless braids twice.I could get the same style done for around £50 less in london but I’d spend that much on fuel anyway so it still works out for me- especially since the quality is very high standard.Based on my experience, I advise that if you do have any issues with your hair just communicate respectfully to staff and they’ll sort it out. Thank you, I’ll be back.

Amazing, Amazing, amazing, wonderful ladies who did my hair and the great guy that helped them, I had a wonderful experience in this shop and look very much forward to going back , my hair is out of this world and my husband loves it too , thank you so much guys

A friend of mine (W, Female) attended her hair appointment yesterday. She asked for sewn in hair extensions. The woman who did her hair, cornrowed 3/4 of her head (no cornrows on top) and sewn in the hair extensions, overlapping them and making quite a mess. She did not oil the corn rows which resulted in my friends head being very sore and irritated. On further inspection of the hair, the extensions were sewn in the wrong direction and honestly were all over the place. The hair extensions do not match the roots of the natural hair, do no blend in well with the natural hair that was left on top and quite frankly it is a complete and utter waste of £240. My 10 year old nephew could of done a better job! To make it worse, the woman who did my friends hair, was paying more attention to her phone and speaking to her husband on the phone then actually paying attention to what she was doing. This is the second time my friend has gone to have her hair done at this shop. The first time was in March and my friend left quite happy with her hair so for her to go back and to be left with a mess on her head is just unacceptable. My friend will NOT be returning there due to the lack of experience and rushed job that was done on her head. I do not recommend anyone to go to this salon for sewn in extensions cse you will waste your money, Your time and will be left quite upset with the quality and experience. A request for a full refund is needed immediately.
