Unwelcoming landlord/bar staff, stinks of dog, dirty hole, avoid! Woman serving was rude and unwelcoming, take your money elsewhere for a friendlier welcome! Would have given zero stars if I could! Keep walking into town…

Small but friendly pub. They keep a very fine pint of the excellent Goodens Gold Real ale.Prices are good for the area.

Came in here for a quick pint, small place but lovely beers on tap. Dog-friendly too so next time I'm bringing my pooch. Also a great haunt if you're waiting for a train and have some time to kill. Definitely coming back.
