The kids meal was good value, but we paid £17 for the kids meals, two drinks and two toasties, I would have expected salad some crisps etc. to make the toasties a proper lunch but it was just a small toastie on a paper plate.

Sausage sandwich and tray bakes were reasonable but there is a poor selection for vegetarians. The coffee is a burnt roast served with scolded milk at temperatures you could use to sterilise with. One of the few coffees I've been unable to finish it was that bad.On the plus side the old station itself is a lovely building and there's plenty of seating in and around the adjacent parkland.

Great walk for the dogs & the cafe serves lovely home made treats & a great cuppa. Well worth a visit. Dog friendly garden area.

Good place to stop for a coffee directly on cycle route one.. Indoor and outdoor seating. Reasonably priced drinks and food.Separate toilet area is down some steps and could do with an update.
