The food was great, the location and view brilliant. The coffee sadly was somewhere between Greg's and McDonald's.But we hadn't gone for the coffee.

First time here as we were meeting our daughter after starting Loughborough Uni this year, and she wanted to see our dogs. Really convenient place to meet up, give the dogs a run, they loved it, and have some lunch at the cafe. It was a lovely sunny day, so we sat outside to hVe lunch. There was a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks, toasted sandwiches, baked potatoes etc. I must admit that the cost did take me aback somewhat. There were four of us, and we had 4 x taosted sandwiches and 4 x drinks, and it came to just shy of £50!The food was nice, but £9 for a toasted sandwich, I thought was a bit much. It was a good job it was nice and sunny and the staff were really friendly. I might stop off at M&S next time!! :)

Stopped off for a slice of cake and a latte on a recent visit to Beacon Hill, it's very clean and has a great feel to the place. Dog-Friendly venue with a great green space outside, definitely worth a visit

Had lunch at the cafe on a Saturday it was very busy. We had tuna sandwiches with side salad and nacho crisps. Also had a slice of cake. The food was tasty, fresh and well presented.

A nice little cafe right next to the entrance of Beacon Hill Park, if you enter through the lower car park. There are a few seats inside and some on the porch area, but we really enjoyed sitting on the benches on the grass. It was a great day so it was pretty good to sit in the great outdoors as close to nature as we can while enjoying our lunch

Fabulous gem of a place! Great after a cold winter walk, to warm up in a lovely warm atmosphere. Staff very welcoming. Stayed for around two hours, eating delicious food and drinking great coffee and the best home made ginger cake I have ever had!

Decent food although not much variety, dog friendly inside. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed and inexperienced but great setting and good dog walks roundabout.

Took far too long to be served, system seemed incredibly inefficient, and waited 28 minutes for 3 toasties. Coffee was awful. Latte was just a weak milky coffee. Nowhere near how a latte should be. Food was nice, but service was too slow, and drinks weren’t up to standard to score anything above a 2. Staff were friendly, though wouldn’t come again.
