Sanctuary Scotland Housing Association - Aberdeen

My misses moved in start of july, Her tv & satelite sockets don't work but they blamed our tvs × 3 and 3 sky boxes + 1 freeveiw box all worked perfect before trying in here and perfect when returned to friends i borrowed from,,,Reported this was told its been reported numerous times repairs people will be intouch,,i decided to call repairs who told me never been reported and he said on phone if other people in block dont have a problem its not nothing to do with signal in building,,I KNOW THIS ITS THE DAM SOCKET ON HER WALL MUST BE FAULTY,,,So 2 wks ago sparkie calls explain to him straight away he says socket fault,,Someone be intouch couple days,,,STILL WAITING,,,,Have had to install wifi and buy a tv stick which we did not need to buy,,,She has trouble walking due to having a stroke so is in doors allot SHE NEEDS THIS SORTED,. ,Went to the papers about this and told they are talking to 7 residents already with a big article about to be released soon,,,,,,Today,,,Get letter saying sanctury has been intouch with benefits office to get money deducted from her benefit as they have not paid months rent,She had to change benefit because of address change which takes time, To get first payment its 5wks,,,Didnt waste time doing that though,,TRY GETTING THE REPAIRS DONE IN A DISABLED PERSONS FLAT INSTEAD OF FOBBING HER OF WITH STORY AFTER STORY WHICH WAS RUBBISH,,,,QUICK ENOUGH TO GET YOUR MONEY,,,,,THEY DONT GIVE A DAM ABOUT U OR DOING REPAIRS ALL THEY WANT IS ££££££SALMOST EVERY REVIEW SAYS THE SAME THING,,,CANT ALL BE WRONGUpdate - it's now 7th November not a phone call or nothing,,,she has been into office to report more repairs needing done and was told to contact the repair department I have now sent 4 emails and nothing not even a reply to one of them,,,,, Even I spoke to the so called area manager who said he would look into the TV and sky socket repairs she is still waiting (since day she moved in) new repairs toilet flush don't work,,,Tap on sink is loose,,,,,IF U LIVE OR ABOUT TO GET A HOUSE OFF THE MOB YOU BETTER HOPE YOU DON'T NEED ANYTHING DONE

WORSE company going, sheltered housing to them are nothing work vans being parked in disabled parking and telling the person tuff and shouting at them, contact them in regards to things and get told its the tenants fault! we are customers not tenants as you are a private company. wait as long for repairs

The worst! We have been living here 9 years now and only 1 repair has been completed! (Fallen roof tile) Told when moved in the doors would be varnished...never came back. Shower room would be done as it was rotten...never got in touch. Gate was falling down...fixed it ourselves. Fence is falling down and rotten...said they would be in touch. One chap came with a clip board...never came back. Another chap with a clip board told us this job had been dumped on him and he couldn't understand why they had houses here as it was a trek from Aberdeen" (1 hours drive approx) I'm paying a service charge for grounds maintenance that they don't maintain

Absolute shambles since sanctuary took over from tenants first,, before you could talk to someone on the fone, they would even come to your house if asked, now it's impossible to get through on fone, have watched desperaignly as since sanctuary took over everything has went downhill, now on my 3 rd day without gas, lucky I'm in good health etc, any improvements to flat have been cheaply made and the work in house shoddy to say the least, always had boiling hot water on tap, since boy came and changed a few things, I hardly get boiling water, Luke warm at best, lot more I could go on about but haven't time... SHAMBOLIC

By far the worst company I have EVER dealt with. No thought process in selecting families for homes. Life is black and white as far as they are concerned and as long as they get their rent they do not care that they mix troublesome families into nice respectful areas, they are about to increase rent yet will say no to a hardworking family that earns £50 a month too much. Customer service is...well non existent. Blinkers must be mandatory throught the company. I could go on and on. If you can find another option for housing then PLEASE strongly consider it. I know I'm not alone and this is just a tiny piece of the massive failures throughout the company, Dispatches showed us that. EXPOSE! EXPOSE! EXPOSE!

The absolute worst housing association I have ever have the displeasure of getting a house through. Hopefully will get to a different housing provider soon who will repair emergencies and not leave you for months

Worst thing that ever happened was when tenants first merged with these clowns. A tenant for 16 years, nothing but problems with this lot since the day they took over. If you looking for stress, and properties that are poorly maintained and cost a small fortune in rent every month this is the landlord your looking for. If you want a landlord that gives a damn, go to any other social housing provider

They are extremely helpful, they have really helped us out and do everything they can to help you with whatever your problem is!!! It’s not so much sanctuary, it’s the people who they employ!!! They went and painted everyone else’s kitchen but missed ours, it’s an absolute joke, why miss 1 or 2 peoples homes but paint the rest, not happy, really not happy!!! Sometimes they’re helpful and sometimes they’re difficult!!!

Why oh why, did Tenants First merge with this company [Sanctuary Housing]?Accidents happen, its a fact of life.The real problems begin, when large companies like Sanctuary try to deny any responsibility for their actions, despite the conclusive evidence that it was their workmen who caused damage to my car.In short, they treat both their tenants AND their tenants property with utter contempt.The only plus side to this sorry state of affairs, is that it appears that I am not the only one suffering because of them.** Please note that this review is aimed more at Sanctuary Housing Customer Services.Not the former Tenants First at the Aberdeen Office.

We have been in our house for almost two years now, before we even moved in numerous problems with the house was pointed out to sanctuary. The housing officer at sanctuary told us that she had made a note of all the problems and that they would be fixed ASAP. Almost two years into living in the house only one of the problems have been fixed, sanctuary have left us without heating in most of the room as it would cost to much to replace the old heating System, they was meant to fit a second Radiator into the living room as we only have one small radiator this has not been done. We also have a hole in one of the bedroom windows that is very unsafe! I do not recommend this housing association at all!
