Rang NHS 111 for an emergency appointment. Fitted me in 9.0am following morning. Service was fantastic and can’t thank them enough

I don't do dentists!......I turned up to my appointment very anxious about my cracked tooth,The dentist checked,xrayed and then said its got to come out!Before I knew it had injections to numb the area and hay ho! Out it came!If it wasn't for the kindness of the dentist, dentist assistant and even the receptionist I wouldn't of had it done and I would of been up the road in a jiffy!So thanks to all!Only problem is there's not enough staff and appointment check ups get cancelled,

My partner got an emergency appointment via 111 and was directed here, we had to drive an hour but it was an emergency so obviously not a problem. She went in and was only in there for 5 minutes came out crying, she has a large infection in her tooth and surrounding gum. All the dentist did was wright a prescription for antibiotics and charged her £23 for it! Wasn't willing to do any procedures kept saying see needs to see a dentist. What are they then, not a dentist?So over all terrable experience if you need help in an emergency don't go here you will not get helped regardless of the severity of your condition.

I recently came in to have an emergency appointment because I had an awful tooth ache I was seen within a few days, I had a fantastic dentist who calmed me down due to having a terrible fear of the dentist. 100% would recommend this dental practice!

We are lodging a formal complaint against this practice. Our daughter visited with complications from an NHS wisdom tooth extraction. The staff were rude and the dentist misdiagnosed an abscess, when actually our daughter has dry socket. She was even prescribed drugs that her notes say she can’t take. We are having to find another emergency dentist tomorrow as a result.What upset us even more was a perfectly reasonable request to use a washroom - the patient washroom was apparently out of action so we asked if we could use the staff washroom. There was a flat refusal in spite of the request coming from someone having active cancer treatment. We were told there might be washrooms open in the town centre.We suspect that much of the attitude of the staff was due to end of day appointment and our daughter’s NHS status.Most unfortunate and absolutely unacceptable.

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING SERVICE... **aside from the ladies on the front desk who were blameless (i assume) and tried to be helpful!**I contacted this dentists on the 28th of August requesting an emergency appointment and was told that I would need to register first.... but! ..I couldn't do this over the phone, so would need to go in. Nothing wrong with that. So I asked when the next appointment would be and I'd register when I arrived, only then to be told, no,.. I couldn't have an appointment until I'd registered, therefore requiring a second unnecessary trip. They were just warming at this point I've since realised! I did register the very next day, being in a lot of pain, but was advised that the earliest I could be seen (for an emergency!) was the 19th of September!!!! I had to get a temporary cap in the end that afternoon at a second dentists.The second dentist's also prescribed me antibiotics and said that I'd need x-rays. Given Trafalgar were now my actual dentists having registered, I went back to them and was advised that the earliest appointment (for x-rays, not treatment) would be the 16th. On the 5th of September I went into Trafalgar in extreme pain to see if they could consider me for any cancellations before the 16th and was advised someone would call me later that morning. Today (the 7th) I have been seen by an excellent dentist (Dentistry at 68) in Poole and they have taken x-rays too at my first appointment and booked me in for root canal surgery next week.I never received the promised call back from Trafalgar.I cannot say strongly enough, If you want to avoid extremely bad, frustrating and inept service and unnecessary pain for any longer than is necessary... AVOID THIS DENTISTS AT ALL COSTS!!!!! if ever I do get that call back from them I will certainly make my feelings known. I've never been moved to write a negative review I feel I should add and hate complaining! but hopefully this helps others avoid the same pitfalls.

I went in today for an emergency appointment for a cracked tooth via 111. I got first class service and thought they were brilliant. Straight in at short notice. I found the dentist and assistant to be very proffesional and friendly. They patched it up but advised I would need further treatment that needed more time than my appointment slot would allow. I was very impressed by the surgery and all the staff so I will be using them from now on. Thank you

First time at this Brilliant Private Dental Surgery. Staff are lovely and caring. We have moved around a lot over the years both in this country and abroad and this is the best dentist we have ever been to. First time our teeth have felt like they had a really good clean with Air Flow cleaning.Dentist was amazing did a great job and explained everything to me in great detail about my treatment and reassured me.Dental Nurse, receptionist and manager were amazing too. Thank you so much.Highly recommend this Surgery and wished we had discovered it sooner.

Took both my boys (4&8) there today for a check up as new NHS under 18s. The receptionist was very helpful and polite and the Dentist treated both boys with care and professionalism.Both boys have no quarrels attending their next appointment.

Shocking service. It takes 3 months to get an appointment and then they cancel the week before time and again. It is now almost a year and a half since me and my child have been seen due to complete incompetence on there part, and no doubt that appointment will be cancelled as well. I wonder if they ever actually see any patients.
