The salon and staff have done an excellent job in adapting to the new normal. Lots of protective measures put in place to make you feel safe and still a very enjoyable and relaxing experience. Great to be back and you are all doing a great job!

Always friendly, always helpful! The Chandler's Ford West One stylists can cut all hair types and ages, and advise on styling and product needs.My son loves going to have Hannah cut his hair - he used to be scared of the clippers, over time Hannah has been able to show him they aren't anything to worry about. She can do a close-cut with the scissors though, as good as clippers!

I have had my hair cut by Lucy for a few months now and it has always been a great experience. The first time I got it cut she done exactly what i asked. I always feel welcomed and comfortable going into the salon, it has a lovely atmosphere.

A highly professional, and most welcoming salon. Hannah is a talented hairdresser as it was my first visit we discussed carefully what I had in mind and I welcomed her considered and really thoughtful ideas. Nothing was rushed. It was lovely to be offered a cup of tea and each step of the way including having my hair washed and scalp massaged through to the final cut and hair dry was a pleasure. The indoor plants add a homely touch. I highly recommend Hannah and look forward to my next visit.

West One Hairdressing is a friendly, modern salon on Hiltingbury Road, next to Anderson's Newsagent. Daughter and I have been coming here for several years now.Lucy is always very kind and knowledgeable. I'm the kind of customer who doesn't always know what I want, and she has been very helpful (and patient!) to me over the years.My daughter grew her hair long to donate it to a children's cancer charity. Lucy was very supportive and knowledgeable and the plaiting, cutting and restyle was expertly done.The clientele of this salon is very varied. Women and men, across all age groups. I have watched young children, those with special needs and the very elderly being treated with great care and respect.This is not the kind of salon where you feel you're being judged, but the staff are all highly skilled if you felt you wanted to be a bit adventurous. The staff are always very warm and welcoming and a great laugh.I'd recommend this salon to anyone of any age looking for competent, local hair care at a very competitive price.

It was just wonderful to see Hannah now that the salon is open again. It was 5 months since my last cut, but Hannah did an amazing job. I walked out with a bounce in my step and no need for hair clips! Feeling so much better. Thank you Hannah.
