St Padarn's Church, Llanbadarn Fynydd

St Padarn's Church in Llanbadarn Fynydd is a plain and simple, 19th century reconstruction of a medieval church.The earliest mention of St Padarn's was in 1513, but it was rebuilt in the Decorated style using materials from the original structure in 1894.The church houses some rather faded memorials, simple stained glass and a roughly hewn font dating from the 14th century.The corbels supporting the roof beams are polygonal, and all the the two above the chancel are plain. The carved two feature relief decorations and may well have been recycled from the earlier church.
