I ordered a carpet from this company which was one of the most expensive they displayed. The carpet had 3 stains on it. I advised the company strait away to which a gentleman came over to review the marks. As a friend fitted the carpet they said I could have done this and not them which was not the case the flooring was fitted without shoes to ensure no marks were present. They advised they would get back to me within the week and I didn’t hear from the again. I have rated 2* as the initial interaction and service was good prior to this. I would not recommend sadly due to this.

Had problems getting the vinyl. Was initially told 3 to 4 days but it took 7 weeks! Was not kept up to date regarding the delay, and after calling was told on a few occasions it would be within a week which didn't happen. The staff were polite though.When the fitter came to fit the vinyl he was very abrupt and didn't seem to take any care with the work and just didn't seem interested. 4 days on and the vinyl is all lifting up with bubbles appearing. Really shoddy work. Now going to have to fetch it up and try and stick it myself. Have had Ian fit our vinyl in the past and never had problems like we have with this chap. STD have been great in the past but it's been problem after problem this time round. Will not use them again.

Me and my husband went here after checking out 3 other places before hand. It was the cheapest by far, even with brand name carpet. Would definitely recommend these guys if you're local. You'll save a lot of time and money!If you have any sensory issues/are on the spectrum this is a quiet, spacious place. A lot of carpet rolls to feel as you walk along as well if your loved one or you yourself regulate through textures. (If you get it you get it)

Excellent service. Huge range to choose from and very helpful staff. We chose two carpets early in the week and they were both fitted on the Friday. Fitters arrived on time and both done within an hour. Could not have asked for better service. Prices were very reasonable for both carpets and fittingWe have used them for many years and its great to find that standards are as good as ever.

Delighted with the service we received from STD Carpets. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. Danny was extremely helpful in selecting suitable choices for the bedroom carpet I was after and provided me with a couple of samples to take home along with relevant prices. Fitting was quickly sorted, including replacing broken boarding over some less than perfect floorboards. The carpet looks great, very good quality at a very good price, absolutely delighted. I would be 100% happy to use STD Carpets again in the future.
