Made a simple enquiry about a piece of furniture. The owner was rude and very unprofessional, speaking with a mouthful of food. Found the store to be over-priced and full of tat.

My experience with Darcy willow was a complicated one! My furniture was fine but the customer service was unacceptableThe owners attitude when calling up to enquire about retuning a purchase, I was spoken to in a disrespectful manner! Being told nothing to do with her and I best not have unwrapped the item! She advised me to go to Island Furniture which I believe is her husband shop where I paid infull for several items back in August, i was then told in November the order they had made for me was wrong. They then kept hold of my money which I had paid in full over £2,700 for over 4 weeks until i sought legal advise to get it returned! I had to call everyday and sometimes they would see my number and ignore me, i then has to call off another number to get them to answer me ! Island furniture then delivered 2 items that once again where incorrect! On one occasion the owner of Darcy willow answered their phone and again spoke to me like In a disrespectful and degrading manner. Telling me she didnt have anything to do with this after advising me to purchase my bed from them, which they order a double when I asked for a king size to then tell me they had order me a super king, twice they got the order wrong! I then cancelled my order as I was told next March will be the earliest delivery date I will get a new bed! Their incompetence was unbelievable, their own member of staff told me she felt embarrassed for how my order had been delt with and how the owners won’t refund me for 10 days yet this is 4 weeks later! I am still dealing with island furniture regarding 2 further items which need to be retuned, I was informed only one hour and half before delivering which is clearly unacceptable notice Their customer service then told me “so I have gave you a hour and a half notice and I won’t get it now until next year now” I made my order in August 2018 and paid for everything in full. This may look like it’s all about island furniture but I never would have gone to this company if not advised to by Darcy willow as they purchase via them! And it is also her husband company.DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO EITHER OF THESE COMPANIES! THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER CARE NOR DO THEY VALUE YOU ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR BUSINESSI will continue to go to tradIing and standards regarding island furniture!

Went in here with a friend to look at a console table. Maria ( I think she is the owner) was rude and condescending and spoke to my friend who was visiting Liverpool in a most patronising manner. We left the store and went elsewhere.

Bought a beautiful mirror here and had it delivered by a very helpful driver who took away the packaging
