Rocksteady Gardens

Sam and his amazing team did an amazing job on our gardens. They shifted 4 tons of soil and rubble, created a stunning garden room and installed a brand new patio. Sam selected some amazing flowers and plants and laid a whole new garden. It was stunning.

Sam transformed my scruffy backyard into a stunning garden. His great eye for design made the most of the space and his wide range of skills meant that everything was finished to an exceptional standard, including the Yorkstone patio, the flowerbeds and the shed, which he built from scratch. Sam is also a throughly nice chap and I’d trust him implicitly to do an outstanding job.

Sam and his team were brilliant to work with and helped us to realise our vision for our London garden. Sam’s extremely skilled, creative, resourceful and always looking for the most sustainable and environmentally sound solution. He relandscaped our garden, created a pergola with monkey bars, transformed an old broken shed, and even created a hidden and sunken sandpit for our young children. End result was so much better than we could’ve imagined.

Sam and the team worked with us to create a sensory garden for ETNA Community Centre. Sam's approach was professional and knowledgeable. The garden sits on a gradient, so a lot of detailed planned was required to ensure that the levels were correct to ensure the aim of a truly accessibility space was delivered.Sam had lots of practical ideas on ways to construct the borders and steps. The finished garden is more than we had hoped for and it was a pleasure to work with the team.

Rocksteady Gardens transformed our patio from a ragged and unusable space into a perfect area to relax in and host guests. We had dug a lot of concrete blocks out of the garden, and instead of having to pay to get them taken away Sam reused them to build a wall round the patio. He also used the existing paving slabs but cleaned and relaid them meticulously. So from a sustainability (and cost) point of view it was perfect. He then clad the wall and built a bespoke seating area to finish it off, and the end result is a beautiful space the whole family can enjoy. Their expert knowledge, hard work and attention to detail make it very easy to recommend Rocksteady, and I look forward to when we can get them back to build us a studio at the bottom of the garden.

Designed and built an amazing decking and pergola at the end of our garden by the river. Brilliant team - nothing too much trouble. End result was fabulous.

Sam has done a major change to our garden in 2020. 3 years later it is still looking great and we are very pleased to have done it! Sam has an amazing attention to detail, from design, execution to finishing all the details which has made everything look great and well fitted together. The work we had done included heavy ground work (it was a mess after the back wall was rebuilt), 2 large terraces, fencing and a gate, bespoke build shed, grass, border edges, a ramp and glass wall to connect a lower and higher part. I would highly recommend him.
