Village Hotel Manchester Ashton

Stayed here back in May but forgot to leave a review! Hotel was very nice and located well near restaurants and tram stop etc.Room was spacious and clean. Pricey but I did stay on a Saturday night so expected.Would stay again if in the area.

Comfortable rooms albeit starting to look a little tired. Good bed, pillows like bricks however. Friendly service throughout with the exception of the bar staff who seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves rather than serving customers. Second time at this hotel and would use again.

Wonderful building interior and exterior.Lovely food. Praise for cooking bacon the correct way also! (Crispy)Enjoyed my stay, very comfortable bed and pillow.The only things I can really suggest that would improve the stay is for the rooms to have mini fridges.Also not the best wardrobe option if sharing a room with lots to hang up (covers a mirror) - so I just kept stuff in my case.Apart from those 2 things, I do recommend this hotel, it was great

Stayed here on a business trip, very welcoming, extremely fast WiFi. Food in the restaurant could be better however other than that, no complaints!

Attended meetings that my company had arranged, and they use this venue on numerous occasions. So easy to access the hotel from the motorway and suited everyone travelling from numerous locations. Bright room with lots of natural light and door leading directly from the meeting room to outside space should you wish to take a break. We'll stocked soft drinks beverage bar, coffee machines, and tea bags for fresh tea. Also had croissants, etc, served during mid-morning and afternoon breaks. We had chicken wraps, dish of savoury rice, and fresh fruit. Chocolate dessert.

Recently stayed for 3 weeks at the hotel. The gym and pool are an added bonus but do get busy, the rooms are comfy and have plenty of space.The stay was made by the staff though, from reception to cleaning staff they were amazing. A big shout out to the bar staff though, young man Oliver is a legend and a credit to the team(and his Mum!), the breakfast crew and evening staff went above and beyond too. Would recommend.

Great hotel. Lovely rooms with comfy beds. Great drench shower.The bar downstairs is great. Big screens, lots of tables and good choice of drinks. The food whilst quite pricey, is very, very nice indeed.Big shout out to Oliver who works in the bar area serving food. Exceptional customer service at such a young age. Friendly, polite and adds a personal touch to his service. 10/10 for Oliver.

Stopped here on Saturday for an event, and have to be honest in that the hotel was almost perfect. The staff were all really friendly, from check in (which is DIY, however two staff on hand to help) to the bar staff. We ordered breakfast on arrival and the team in the morning were great. Very polite and talkative, a true Northern welcome. Even the house keeping staff acknowledged you as you walk back to your rooms. Now for the bad part, but only in my opinion. Whilst the room was spotlessly clean, large and perfect for the night, the bed and pillows for me were both too hard! I woke up dead down my leg at one point. Most have said the beds are comfy so I havent reduced my 5 star review as must just be a preference for me to have soft pillows and a nice memory foam mattress. If it wasn't for the lack of sleep though I would have said the hotel was perfect. So to summarise, almost perfect and would certainly stay again should I be in the area, for the staff if not for the bed.

I visited with a group of friends for a 90s night a few weeks back. Everything was great from start to finish, really good value for money and the 90s night was better than expected. The staff were great, especially Jamie-Leigh and Katie! What a great set of girls, worked their socks off to ensure we had everything we needed and when we asked for something they dealt with it straight away. Thanks girls! Ps. The breakfast is worth staying over! Good variety.

Brilliant location and fantastic friendly staff. Rooms are very clean and a lot of space, food is also very good with a wide range of selection on the menu. Will be staying here again 100%!
