I had an amazing dining experience at Darbar in Hanger Lane! The kebabs were absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for a memorable evening. The friendly staff and cozy ambiance added to the overall charm of the restaurant. I can't wait to go back for more of their delectable cuisine!

Second time back at Darbbar and we were still thoroughly satisfied with our meal. The lamb is phenomenal and a must try. The dumplings, rice and red chilli sauce were very good.The service is always great and prices are affordable.

I celebrated my brother's birthday at DARBAR, booking the entire upstairs venue, which includes access to the rooftop. The food was delicious, and all my guests enjoyed it. We're eager to return. The manager was very helpful, and the service was timely. A much better experience compared to others.

Very pleasant and interesting meal, the menu is a bit limited but the quality taste and freshness of the food was good and very reasonably priced. Particularly with thepurchase of a Groupon voucher for 4 people. Helpful and attentive staff and the restaurant is warm clean and bright inside. The resturant was not busy with most customers ordering delivery, but it is worth visiting with its simple charm. Not one normally for deserts but the cream roll was excellent.

This was our first time trying Afghan food and it was amazing! Everyone who served us was so helpful, and we were recommended a dish based on the fact it was our first time trying the cuisine. We got a huge leg of lamb with really beautifully cooked rice. The portion was more than enough for two people. We also ordered a side of dumpling which were so tasty. My partner ordered tea and I had coke. We also got a complimentary side of sauces and lots of bread to eat the lamb with. The portion sizes were very generous for the price we paid, which was under £30 for the lot. Would 100% recommend, especially to people who haven’t yet tried Afghan foods, the atmosphere is really friendly and welcoming, definitely going back!

We went for a family birthday meal, 15 of us.Excellent service, great food, however the qablie palow needs the roasted nuts. Would return again. Recommend to all people who enjoys food.

I had a really delicious (and huge!) meal here at this family run restaurant. The guy that served me was really friendly and attentive, the food was served in good time and was sooo tasty! For £15 I got everything shown in picture (rice, vegetables, bread, lamb shank, salad) so it's really good value too. The decor is quite luxurious and I think the place is pretty new because everything looks new and neat. They even have a roof terrace for shisha or al fresco dining.

I recently visited this Afghan restaurant and I must say that I was blown away by the incredible experience I had. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly set the tone for the entire meal.Firstly, the ambience of the restaurant was stunning; the intricate decor and lighting created a cozy and welcoming atmosphere while also highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Afghanistan.Now on to the food - every dish I tried was an absolute delight! The menu boasted a range of authentic flavors and ingredients that were skillfully combined to create truly unique and delicious dishes. I particularly enjoyed the lamb kebabs which were tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. The vegetarian options were equally amazing, with the sabzi chalaw being a standout dish - the combination of fresh spinach, herbs, and saffron infused rice was truly mouth-watering.What made the experience even more memorable was the attentive service provided by the staff, who were always eager to help and ensure that my dining experience was top-notch. The owner himself even came to check on us and share a bit about the history and culture behind some of the dishes on the menu.Overall, I would highly recommend this Afghan restaurant to anyone who is looking for an authentic and unforgettable dining experience.
