Lovely small small holding.Parking very easy. Perfect for under 5 year olds as can walk around entire route in 30mins.Easy route to walk and accessable for pram. Touch animals feed them. Staff friendly. Kids loved sand pit swings ect. My toddler fell in love with the horses who happily eat from your hand which you buy Feed there. We also had sausage rolls and pop from cafe and happily sit out on tables chairs provided. Lovely morning outing.

What a beautiful hidden gem. Had no idea this existed until today.Lovely little place for the little ones. My Lo is 2.5 and loved it, as well as the 4 and 6 year old that attended too.Very small play park but the kids liked it.Two refreshment areas. Although the Tea wasn't great (served flat cold twice.) But apparently was a fault with the machine. Thesubstitute coffee was lovely though. The staff were so friendly and as soon as we asked about the small animals and availabilty to pet them, it was organised there and thenAmazing!! Would definitely recommend. And will be back. A few shaded seating benches near the hay maze too.

The Watering Hole Farm Gawthorpe
Did the pony experience this afternoon and it was wonderful. My 5 year old thought it was amazing and has been talking about all the things she has learnt and it has really inspired her love of ponies. The girls running it were fantastic with the children. The ponies were lovely and calm and clearly loved the attention. Just the right time frame for the price. Felt like a hidden gem of a farm. Can not recommend enough!!!

Wonderful farm and even better spa! Toilet and handwashing facilities, numerous friendly animals you can pet, and a professional coffee and snack van on site too. Highly recommended.

The Watering Hole Farm Gawthorpe
Lovely little farm. Bought food to feed the animals and paid to feed the lambs which the grandchildren loved. Good picnic area and play area. In hindsight taking a packed lunch would have been a better option than buying there. Lovely experience. Staff knowledgeable and polite. Animals well looked after and in a good environment

An unforgettable experience for our 2 boys. They loved every second of it and the staff working there went so far out of their way to make sure it was even more special for them. They were so patient with the kids and even managed to encourage our son, who struggles with high sensory situations to interact and play with the animals. Thank you you’ve helped him so much
