I need to revisit this place because it was full of customers and I was not able to get a place at the table. This indicates that food here is very good and reasonably priced.Monday to Friday there is special offer for lunch time meals - 11 pounds for two.

Thankfully we live over 160 miles away so we won’t ever consider returning.Popped in for some late lunch whilst away on holiday as a family of 5.Food was terrible.Half the sides weren’t available before we ordered either.Our daughter had the pizza and it came out absolutely swimming in grease and the base really doughy. She ate what she could so as not to be wasteful but it’s consistency made her feel sick.I had the sizzling grilled chicken, it initially looked nice but the fattest end of the chicken was pink. Where the rice bowl was sat on black hot plate the rice at the bottom was turned to crisp.I will say that my other half’s meal was ok, steak was as and his chok ( although he hadn’t looked at it )The other meals were literally just freezer items that let’s be honest in a fryer you can’t go wrong with.We spoke to the manager about the pizza which she then refunded.

just had a fantastic family party for our grandsons 18th birthday. Food and service was brilliant. We were able to decorate the table with helium balloons and take a cake for after our meal. Well done to all the staff. Recommended.

I booked a table for a birthday meal and all 13 of us had no complaints, the food was all spot on, really good value and the staff were great. I'm so glad the new management have turned the pub round. We'll definitely be going back.

The food was beautiful and everyone enjoyed their meal. Very reasonably priced too for 5 of us!The only issues were the wait time for our food, 1 hour! Also the kitchen had run out of 8oz steaks.But on the whole a lovely reasonable place

Went on a Sunday at around peak time for eating around lunch, slight negative was long wait but food was very good, great improvement from previous management when I had been dining there before. 4 out of 5.

2nd visit out of many more! When they first brought out the steak,it wasn’t right and they immediately fixed it! Super happy with the service and food.Lad on the bar who served us was a gem, and the waitess was lovely and polite. Again a lovely place ,will definitely be coming here again.

My wife and I used the barley mow for many years but over the past 2-3 yrs it got very run down with serving under or over cooked food. The bar service rubbish to be honest so we stopped going!Recently my daughter visited the pub and said the place has new management and the food was great, so we did and we now have seen such a great big change now, to which we have visited it 3 times since!If the pub stays like this, we will definitely be using it far more.The place was clean and tidy and had a pleasant atmosphere! The food was really good.We did notice that when the customers were trying to order drinks and food there was only 1 of the staff serving at times, but it could have been a one off!I must give a very well done to the new management and staff.

Food was lovely, my daughter tried the southern fried chicken starter and really enjoyed it. Food was hot, presented well and arrived in a timely manner.Drinks were cold and refreshing, cocktails were mixed to perfection by your bartender Kallum. Kallum also took our food order and all of our awkard changes were noted correctly by him and followed through by the kitchen team.Staff were lovely and friendly, very welcoming, as was the ambience of the venue.We will be making it a regular family trip.

Joey the manager was very informative and friendly & very welcoming. Lillie was lovely she seemed very happy in her work and knowledgeable remembering to ask if we had any allergies. The food was quick, tasty & hot & plentiful. Myself & my partner enjoyed our meal & first experience at The Barley Mow , Banbury
