Dalston Hall Holiday Park & Golf Club

This site is perfect in every way, I couldn't imagine a better place to buy a static. The owners and their sons are so friendly and so hardworking, nothing is too much trouble. Site is beautifully kept, peaceful and so relaxing! You don't even have to leave the site as you can walk miles on-site, the wildlife is spectacular.Location of the site to the coast, the Lakes and Scotland is brilliant and with a cities amenities a couple of miles away, you really couldn't ask for anything more!I quite simply couldn't be happier!

Lovely well maintained and friendly family run caravan park to the highest of standards and perfect as an adults only oasis for those who don't seek theHi -d- hi lifestyle or theme park environment. Dog friendly with acres of land to enjoy your doggie walks. Minutes in a car to local shopping facilities at nearby Dalston village or spoilt for choice in Carlisle with every possible provision for a keen shopper's day out.....AND ..well situated to visit Cumbria and it's spectacular Lake District or coastal towns.

The family that run the site are absolutely wonderful and very helpful. On the weekend the site clubhouse is open and the food served is scrumptious, has a wide variety of dishes and everyone is so friendly. This has been my second visit and I will definetly go back again and again.

On the weekend the site clubhouse is open and the food served we recommend the steak pie and the scampi it has a wide variety of dishes and everyone is so friendly. We booked for the May bank holiday weekend and loved the walks and the nine hole golf course so much we stayed the week. We would absolutely love it if they managed to open up all of the old nine hole golf course.We will definitely be going back to visit.

Brilliant place, large spacious immaculately clean toilets and showers.The owners are lovely and so very friendly.The site has a few touring pitches but is mainly statics, some really stunning mobile homes but all so beautifully spaced out that it doesn't feel crowded or overlooked. The place felt very secure and peaceful.It's situated just over a mile from the centre of Dalston with a pub and shops.If you want more Carlisle is only a short drive away.TV reception is good but 4g data is a bit patchy but still worked for us...Lovely place and well worth a visit.

Great site due to the Family who run this Holiday park always at hand to help if needed.Clean facilities on site with clothes washing area.Would certainly recommend to visit when possible.Lovely location with large grounds for exercising your dogs.Credit to the owners.

Can’t fault this site. Brilliant good walks for dogs - not just an after thought. Food on site is good. Showers and all facilities good and spotlessly clean.The thing that made it for me was the genuine friendliness of all the family members. Very helpful and a good laugh. Good old fashioned customer service. We will definitely be back in the future.

Friendly family run caravan site. Excellent freshly refurbished clean toilet and washing facilities. The benefit of on site meals and a bar at the weekend make this the go to place for anyone looking in this area. Catch some use of the free golfing facilities and have a chat with the owners over a pint in the bar afterwards. Access from Carlisle via the bypass is stress free with a caravan. 20 minute walk into Dalston for a pub, pharmacy, co-op, chippy and sandwich bar.

We spent 5 nights at this campsite and loved every minute. Due to faulty breaks on our campervan we had to cancel our initial booking at very short notice but were welcomed when we turned up unannounced a day later. We ended up staying 5 nights instead of 1.The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean, although due to Covid, the showers are currently closed.The site is very dog friendly and has an incredible dog walk around the golf course and adjacent fields. You can walk for miles, seeing owls, buzzards and red deer (if you're lucky!).The site is ideally located for exploring Carlisle, the local area, the Lake District, the Solway Coast, and even the Pennines.We will be back!

This site is in a great location for shops, the lakes, Scotland and much more . It is well set out , spacious and clean. The site is family owned and they will do what they can to ensure you enjoy your stay . There is a small clubhouse open Friday and Saturday where you can get a meal (always lovely!). There is a golf course too , plenty walks and a dog walk , it is adult only site which is good for peace and quiet , if you want entertainment and play areas Silloth is half an hour away.
