Team Cycles, North East Bike Shop

I ordered a helmet after 2pm on Thursday, it was dispatched the same day and arrived Saturday. Great selection of products and one of the cheapest around. Nice online experience too, but the follow up question went unanswered, so if you think you might need to return the product I'd look elsewhere.

Bought a Whyte e160 s from them. Had a battery catch break on the first ride. Took several weeks to get a replacement. Got it just in time for a holiday in Wales. Took the bike to coed llandegla, which I had been looking forward to for ages. The bike started rattling from the back end. Did a black run with some fairly big jumps. 2 minutes later my left pedal arm fell off. Had to walk the bike back to the trail center which was shut. As I didn't have my usual tool box. I took the bike to a bike shop in Llandudno who put a new bolt in the crank. Both pedal arms were loose. The cassette came loose and was rattling. That's with 100 miles on the bike. They haven't replied to my emails since.

Come to this shop wanted chain and sprocket's fitted bring my own part's that I got for my bike fit and no to touching the gear's as they were perfect at that point and said well that's strang and it's a job normaly done so I reluctantly said ok they had a look around the bike said I needed a forward gear cable which I was amazed at as I have really only used this a few times as I like the big ring at the front for hills I asked as long as it's Shamano they said of course it was on the bill that it was not it was bill being bontrager. The 11 speed was not indexes as before my mate looked at me and my bike when it made them noise's that it makes which cost £25.00 to do I don't know which hurt more.

Called into Team Cycles yesterday, looking for advice on a road bike.Was seen to by Richard.Extremely helpful and knowledgeable.Listened to what I said and recommended a bike to suit my needs. No hard sell.I bought a bike and an assortment of gear to go with it.

Unfortunately there was no aftercare service at all as after purchasing a bike through them after having contact via telephone and email to buy the bike which was all very prompt and always got a fast reply, after buying the bike it was delivered with the 12 speed gears not functioning properly jumping gears and making grinding clicking noises in a lot of the gears while testing them before riding it properly so I rang via telephone and was told they can't offer any help or resolution over the phone and to email them to which my email was ignored sadly and ended up having to resort to going to another bike shop at my own expense to have the gears tuned so I can't recommend this shop for any aftercare if you have any issues with your purchases from here.

Very quick delivery, unfortunately I ordered the wrong item. However, after explaining the problem to Team Cycles they sympathetic and gave me a refund very promptly.. Thank You for the excellent service

can only comment on online order, but great value deal on sram chain and next day delivery worked a treat, right in time for when i needed. Tipped off about the store by watch 'The Cycling Tattooist' on youtube.
