Greystones Farm Nature Reserve
Found this hidden gem on a walk back to the car from Bourton on the Water.Absolutely beautiful walking paths, steeped in history along the way. Several small walks, ideal for all ages in the beautiful Cotswold countryside.Very quiet when we visited. The cafe was shut, but I imagine it was very busy during opening hours and school holidays.Cattle grazing in nearby sheds, very peaceful after the crowds in the town center. A real hidden gem. The path that leads to the reserve is opposite the Co-op supermarket. Well worth a visit after the town center.

Greystones Farm Nature Reserve
My whole family loved the walk to the farm. Far away from the crowds, just fields and a beautiful farm, saw lots of rabbits and the lake is gorgeous.

Really nice nature reserve with lots to see and do. Tranquil and invigorating and stunning views.watch out for the horse flies though

Very good facilities and information room. Clear and informative walking trails; friendly team. Well worth a visit. Park in town car park near Coop and walk up to reserve.

Greystones Farm Nature Reserve
A low-key but lovely few hours crossing fields and rivers with lots of interesting signposts, about wildlife, birds, and 1000+ year history of the land.Farm is a working dairy farm with manned information office but no other facilities except coffee machine, buy fresh milk and organic cheese in vending machines.Want to run a café? The building awaits you!Map looked great but got us lost!TIP: take Ordnance Survey if you're keen.Free to enter.

Greystones Farm Nature Reserve
The bronze age house has a history board on the exteriors, so it's not essential to get arranged entry. The (modern day) dairy farm is mostly honey stone buildings with small parts that are covered in clapboard sidings. Also you see the cows can pass freely between the barn and the meadows, through a body motion sensory door.

Greystones Farm Nature Reserve
Just a short walk from the town centre this place is a breath of fresh air. Alas Bourton-on-the-Water is just such a tourist magnet, the place can get over-run with visitors. Greystones provided a place of calm nearby with very few visitors. Several circular trails you can do, one leading up to the lake, another out into open fields.

A lovely walk with the dog - a fairly easy walk through fields and tracks. Decent little cafe with half a dozen big tables outside too.Clean toilets as well.Very much enjoyed it and will come back soon.

Lovely place for a walk. Dog friendly on a lead as they have free roaming cows. The picture I put up of a tree Is my favourite tree in this nature reserve. The whole tree sings. Full of birds.

Greystones Farm Nature Reserve
Lovely spot and great for a walk with or without a dog but they need to be clearer about whether or not its truly open. Its an open site so you can freely walk around but we went at what might be considered peak times and there were no staff and the iron age round was padlocked up, which was something of a disappointment.
