Ian and the lads turned up on time and did a fantastic job of removing my Leylandi trees and grinding out the stumps. Replaced some fencing for me also and ground out a couple of other old stumps in the garden. Very nice people. Also charged a fantastically competitive price.Definitely recommend

I’d give more stars if I could!After already attempting to tackle the job myself and giving up after about 7 hours of effort, I contacted Ian following a recommendation. He came and quoted me for a large Ivy bush removal and to my disbelief, he actually managed to squeeze me in that same afternoon to complete the job.They got the entire bush removed, took care of disposal and the garden looked tidier than what it started as all within about 2 hours - so chuffed and already recommended them to others.

Iain and his lads came out were really personable and did the job well following a quote a couple of weeks before. I had a big tree blocking out all the light in the bottom of my garden. They also offered loads of advice and on what best to do with the area. I would definitely recommend.

This is the second time Ian has carried out work on trees in our garden. Ian and his team work hard to ensure you get what you want done, always tidy up after and have cut the logs to the correct size for our stove. We will call on Mercia Tree Surgery again should we need further work.

Have to say that Ian and the lads did a fantastic job. They felled 5 trees and completely replaced 24 fence panels including posts/gravel boards etc. Despite problems with old footings and inclement weather, the work was completed in the timescales Ian had said. Could not fault the quality of work. They completey cleaned up afterwards even though some of the rubbish was not created by them. A glowing report from me, and we have already discussed additional work in the near future.

I’ve dealt with many tradesmen in my 40 years of business ( I’m a window cleaner) and having first met up with Ian at my house, to discuss taking down rotten fencing covered in Ivy, I knew instantly this man knew what he was talking about..We agreed terms and dates . The job was to take 4 hard days in the Summer heat of mid June.! When arriving back home on the fourth day I was greeted by my wife who smiled and gave the thumbs up ! Once again, thank you Ian and look forward to seeing you next year for our patio renovation

I can't put into words how good Ian and his team are! He completely changed the look of our garden, had rotting decking when we moved in, and he designed it from start to finish, couldn't fault them. They worked in 30+ degree heat for 8 days to get the garden done. So happy with the result it is unreal! We have even sent his number to my in-laws to landscape their garden. Mercia tree surgery and landscaping were hired to clear my garden of 40+ very big pieces of natural stone, to break up and remove a concrete pond and to remove a large tree stump.After my initial email (where I outlined the work I wanted done) Ian responded quickly and arranged to come over to survey my garden and to talk through my requirements. We agreed a price and Ian booked me in for the work to be done over 3 days.In the time between making a booking and the work being done Ian communicated with me several times, and even called the day before to confirm they would be arriving first thing in the morning which was reassuring.Ian arrived the next morning, he introduced me to his team of 4 labourers and then didnt waste any time in getting started. They were well organised and made a very heavy job appear light work.On the first day they broke up and removed over 30 pieces of stone. (These were BIG pieces and each one took all 5 men to lift onto the back of their 3 ton flat bed).On the second day they removed the last of the stone, broke up a large concrete pond and removed the tree stump using the stump grinder. By 1.30pm they had completed all of the work.Ian and his team put in some serious, SERIOUS graft. When Ian had initially told me the job would take 3 days I had doubts they would get done in this time. However it was no surprise that the job was finished ahead of schedule as every time I looked out into the garden to see how they were getting along they were always working! Other than to eat lunch I never saw them off the job.Based on my experience with Mercia Tree Surgery and Landscaping I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Ian and his team.Thank you so much.
