Ive totally lost faith in model shops . I have lost a deposit of 25.00 through no fault of my own. I left a deposit for a model then was emailed finally months later stating there arriving tomorrow please pay in full. So in all good faith I did. What a suprise total wrong information goods still in Germany. Not only that the owner insinuates I'm a liar as I knew more info than him. One week on what a suprise still no models . Lesson learned never buy owt less you see it sat on the shelf because the only person making a bundle of cash is the model shop.Never again very big mistake.

Nice guy and knowledgeable, however, stock not so great.Placed an order as it said the items I wanted were in stock, they were not in stock at all and had to come from the distributor. Over a week and still one set of tyres missing, cancelled part of the order and collected the rest which had turned up.My 2 pence would be do as model sport do and show the item out of stock, but available to order, 3-7 days turn around. This way you know where you stand.I will try the shop again as fairly local, but I will make a call before I order anything!

Always really helpful.First time I went in I had no idea.I went in a little blind and waved my debit card at the owner. He could have taken me to the cleaners. Instead he talked me out of spending loads with solid advice.Since then I've been back a few times.

Placed an order on the 14th Sep, confirmation email on the 15th, no further contact or information since, despite item being listed as in stock when purchase made. Sent an email on Monday 25th via their website, no reply as of yet (Thursday 28th).Expecting this will be an uneasy situation to resolve.

Very helpful, friendly and an excellent knowledge of the RC market. I have purchased many items and used the shop for repairs, all of high quality. I would highly recommend RC Model Shop Direct.

Ordered a RC Boat for my Dad on December 12th, needed it delivered fast so called the shop and they had it in the post the same day. Arrived morning of the 14th. Store even offered to find a workaround with a store collection of an alternative if it got lost/ delayed by Royal Mail. Great experience will use again.

Had to give 5 stars rang yesterday for a part for my sons Reve D RDX Drift car, said part wasn’t in stock but he had one on his display model, placed the order and it came first thing this morning. Lee was awesome going above and beyond.
