Levan Restaurant Peckham
Levan was absolutely amazing!Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The wine list is very good (I did however opt for the cheaper end of wines - house wines tend be very good and best priced) and the food was on stunning.Would highly recommend.

Booked on the recommendation of a friend for my sister's birthday, comté fries were delicious and lived up to what was expected but the gnocchi was awful, lackluster, and the greens they were served with were very tough...some people liked the monkfish but others found it too salty. Same with the cod balls which were actually made from monkfish on the night. The pork dish was highly rated. Might have been an off day? Busy and a good atmosphere though.

Our first time at Levan and we will absolutely be returning. The food was so delicious - we had the Chefs menu and it was *chefs kiss*! Would absolutely recommend having the wine pairing too. Each was the perfect match for each dish. The service is just exceptional. The team are so welcoming, friendly and really make you feel at home. Beautiful restaurant, feels fancy but also very relaxed and comfortable. New favourite place to eat in Peckham. Thank you to the Levan team! We will be back ❤️

Highly recommended - I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Levan!I had the good fortune to be sat at the chef's counter, which gave a great view in to a slick, well-run kitchen where I could see first-hand the attention being paid to an interesting and well put together menu.The menu was inventive, but without being so for the sake of it. Each course offered something interesting, covered a range of flavours and textures, and was typically delicious (and wonderfully presented).Service was friendly and helpful, with the restaurants atmosphere nicely buzzing.The wine list is lengthy - with a big focus on low-intervention, skin-contact and all of that - not my go-to, but the wine I did have was excellent.Well worth a visit.

Nice little restaurant next to the Peckham and Rye station.We came for a later lunch sitting at 2:45 p.m. They have a special with both steak frites and moules frites. Upon seating they let us know that they were actually out of the stake. However, when we ordered our food they told us they had a portion of steak left. Between the three of us we ordered one steak and two of the moules frites along with the stracciatella hazelnut appetizer and some bread.The bread was made in house and served warm with a generous portion of nori butter. The cheese was absolutely delectable!I wish the same could be said for the mains. The steak was a very small portion of flank steak served with an herby sauce. The mussels were a larger portion and served with bread to dip. Sadly the broth was lacking depth of flavor didn't make me want to go back and mop it up. The fries however were perfect! Super crisp and fluffy interior!We got the banana ice cream with ganache for dessert. The flavor was incredible but again lacking, this time in texture. It was served with cookies crumbled on top but the cookies were soft. If they were crunchy or crispy it would have been a great textural contrast to the soft ganache and smooth ice cream.Service was great. The restaurant itself is cozy and charming.

Honestly, one of the best restaurants in London. This is our third time at Levan and once again, the experience couldn't have been more perfect. Already looking forward to the next time. Quite frankly, we have to keep ourselves from going every time the menu changes. Because the food is excellent, the combination of ingredients is original, often unique but always works perfectly. The flavours are strong and decise, you don't have to look for them, they just kick in your mouth and it's an explosion, one flavour after the other and it's just so good.And the bread, homemade sourdough bread made by the Chef Philip Limpl himself. The best bread and butter, served warmed, the thick crust perfectly balancing the soft inside... we had to order another slice (only one, because we were ashamed to ask for more than one!). Levan also has an amazing list of natural wines. Service and atmosphere just complete the most relaxing evening, and set the stage to allow you to completely let go of everything else and purely enjoy everything that is going on in the room.Obviously looking forward to the opening of Bar Levan next door, we are sure it will be the perfect French style wine bar, offering a beautiful selection of natural wine accompanied by charcuterie, cheese boards and more, we have no doubt it will be an incredible success!Thank you again Chef and the Levan's team for your amazing work.Agnese and Roberta

First time visiting, been meaning to go for ages. We sat at the chefs table and were so looked after - especially by Rich, one of the chefs who told us how to make the perfect salad dressing and it was so lovely being able to chat with him before it got super busy. Food was delicious and experimental and exciting. They change the menu every 4 weeks

The food was exceptional! I m used with Michelin restaurants and my partner is a food critical, the taste was just divine. As I am Designer the location is quite strategic in Peckham and the interior design is sober, and cool at the same time. Amazing atmosphere, we will become frequent customers for sure! Amazing price, all meals came decorated you can feel that there is care and love for those prepare. I know it’s quite difficult to book a table but it’s worthy! One of my best experiences in London for sure!

Levan Restaurant Peckham
Only a minute away from the station, Levan is a favourite restaurant of mine in Peckham and one I love recommending to my friends for dinner or date. Their changing menu is always exciting and the wine list is full of gems, particularly from the Jura region. Great service too!
