Leith Vets

We have been to Leith Vets on a number of occasions now and couldn’t be happier with the care and advice given. All the staff are warm and friendly and put you and your pet at ease. Charlie required sedation and an x-ray, I had to leave him there after only 10 days of adopting him. I felt confident he was in the right hands and on my return the staff shared lovely playful photos they had with him. Nichola took the time to show and explain the X-rays - my 13y/o loved this! I highly recommend and added bonus is parking.

Ashley and Nikki were both absolutely lovely and patient to my dramatic cat who was not being particularly lovely to them. They took a lot of time since she was nervous and still managed a thorough examination and tricky pedicure. My cat may be a sassy madam but I was very impressed how they care for animals.

Couldn’t recommend it better! Definitely 5/5. We’ve had 3 visits already with our 5 months kitten. Both vets Ashley and Nichola were so caring and professional. Also after neutering our kitten was kept under the best care. Also Kayleigh deserves mention as she was very helpful when our cat needed buster collar after castration. Best vet care and despite moving flats last time we will definitely stay with Leith Vets!

We recently adopted an ex-racing greyhound and registered with Leith Vets initially due to their convenient location to us. We had our girl Dora booked in for a nail clipping but upon inspection by both the absolutely fantastic vet Nichola and nurse Nikki, they took time out of their day to offer a full consultation check-up (due to Dora's complicated and largely missing medical history). She was fully at ease the whole time she was there, smiling away and happily taking all the treats offered. We were really pleased with the service and have signed up to their Pet health Club scheme. Thanks to everyone at Leith Vets - it is really comforting to know that Dora was happy and at ease on her first vet visit.

What’s not to like! A clean & well appointed physical space, with super friendly staff to greet you. First visit today with my gorgeous 9 week-old puppy, who was full of beans, but with Nichola’s calm demeanour, she managed to do our first check with ease.Patricia & Kayleigh played tag with puppy cuddles & paperwork. We are delighted to have joined the Leith Vets family & feel that our puppy, and eventually our user friendly dog, is in good hands.

I can’t recommend Leith Vets enough! Both Nicola and Ashley are fantastic and helped my nervous kitty be ok with visiting the vet! The surgery is clean, modern and the reception staff are all so friendly and kind. Thank you from Olive (and her equally thankful owner, Dawn :-)

I would highly recommend this vet! I took my toy poodle to get his booster, he's very shy and nervous but Ashley the vet and Patricia the receptionist made him feel so at home. They were so patient and very friendly with him. Easy free parking right beside the vet and reasonable prices. So lovely to see a family run practice has opened! Thank you again.

First visit today was an absolute revelation. Nichola was absolutely fantastic with my Diabetic cat Timmy. She'd clearly read the notes from our previous vet and listened to everything I had to say. Both she and the vet nurse were excellent and everyone from reception to the end of the consult seemed genuinely caring and interested in doing their best for my Timmy. I am so glad that I have changed to Leith Vets and I would 100% recommend the team there. A wonderful experience for both me and Timmy and I feel confident that the care he will receive with Leith Vets is going to be great for him. Thanks so much for the care and attention today

I had such a fantastic experience on my first visit to Leith Vets today with my two cats. Ashley spent the first little while just getting them comfortable and I think that's going to be such a huge help with keeping them calm when we go in the future. They barely noticed their jabs and she gave them a really thorough look over. She also put me at ease, taking the time to listen to any concerns I had and talking everything through with me. Honestly felt a bit emotional! Really confident my cats are going to get the best care with them, thank you!
