Struggling to see the value in the service.Company website boasts 'We're proud to specialise in first-time buyer mortgages' but then, later in the process, my adviser, Daniel Williams informs me: 'We don’t need to ask about any Lifetime/Help to buy ISA as those products are taken out without our advice and we would always refer clients back to the provider/government website should anyone have any queries relating to them.'I didn't think it was unfair to expect advice or knowledge relating to products whose primary function is to be used by first-time buyers. Whilst Daniel does not provide advice on products to be used in conjunction with mortgages, they refuse any responsibility to shed light on the nature of these products.In addition, 'affordability' is one of the first areas needed to be covered and clearly they're making assumptions if so much of the product knowledge is missing.My experience with the conveyancers has been shocking, and not once has the mortgage broker reached out, called or emailed for the entire five months this pathetic charade has been going on. Yet, I have emailed twice my dissatisfaction regarding lack of follow-up.The only time the broker followed up was to push for any protection to be arranged, which I told him early doors I'd arrange myself. Seems that commission-chasing is a higher priority than customer satisfaction and seeing through what you start.Mortgage rate ended up being only what could've been calculated on Nationwide with no firm-related discount or favourable fee.Advice: find a better mortgage broker who knows their stuff, they do really get paid enough to know about current products provided by the government to help first time buyers and should be willing to flex their knowledge if they're going to claim they're 'specialists' in the field.

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish! My friend told me about Jon and how fab he was so I gave him a call and he was calm and reassuring throughout!We had some issues at the start and Jon was constantly in contact with us giving us every option including working out of hours.He would work around us whether it was a evening appointment or weekend he made sure we was ok with it!Jon made us feel so welcoming and he felt like a family member.Would highly recommend and forever thankful.
