Loved our long weekend in Big Blue. I’m tall so I appreciated the headroom while standing and sleeping too. Nice cooking facilities meant we had some great camp meals and there’s loads of room on board for anything you want to bring along though all the basics are in place. The van is surprisingly manoeuvrable for its size and is easily able to cruise at 60 on the dual carriageways though you need to be sure & steady in the country lanes. Great fun all in all and Simon was on the end of the phone if there were any questions

We rented Calvi to attend Glastonbury Festival in June 2023 and were not disappointed with our choice. There were two of us in the camper - myself and my son (23 years). Pick up was straightforward, with Dale (the owner) providing information prior to the rental and a comprehensive guide of Calvi before departure. As first time campervanners, Dale was patient and knowledgeable with us, which was very much appreciated. We were due to be positioned in the Eastern Quiet campervan area of the festival, which has water and toilets but no showers or power hook-up. Calvi was a dream as an offgrid vehicle, with the capable solar panels providing power for recharging and nighttime lighting. It also powers the fridge and freezer, both very welcome when the temperatures strayed above 25 degrees. Calvi has powered running water and cooking facilities, which certainly added some civility to the festival experience. The two permanent double beds at the rear of the vehicle were comfortable and guaranteed a pleasant night’s sleep after 14 hours of walking around the festival site. The addition of an awning was great, providing some shade during the mornings and shelter from the little rain that we had. Calvi was easy to drive and was economical with fuel - the whole trip from Sussex via Reading to Somerset and back cost around £60. A very comfortable vehicle - we will be back! (Assuming we get lucky with tickets again).

We had a fantastic 1st experience of life in a campervan with our 2 young daughters (2 & 5 yrs) in Lily van. The van itself has clearly been a Labour of Love for Thorsten and Sabine. Spending time in it you can tell that every detail has been carefully thought out and it’s designed with a family of 4 in mind.We travelled on from Andover (pick up) to Cornwall, stopping at some lovely points to break up the journey there and back, Glastonbury and Bath. The collection and drop off was really smooth and the owners added us to a WhatsApp group, so we felt reassured we could ask any questions whilst we had the van.Everything we needed was included, plus more, even some basic groceries tea and porridge.We all loved the experience so much and would definitely do it again. We were all a bit sad to wave bye bye to the van at the end of our trip, a sign of a very successful foray into van life!

Really enjoyed our week in Tofino! Hiring was a great way to test out campervan life. The van is well equipped. We found having solar panels particularly useful - we didn't pay for electric hook-up at any of the sites we stayed on (and were able to stay on sites that had no EHU pitches available) - the solar power was enough to keep our milk and beers cold in the fridge, keep the whole family's devices charged, and have light in the evenings. I was slightly nervous about driving such a large van, but she handled really well and was a joy to drive. It was cosy for 4 of us (2 adults and kids aged 12 and 9, so not small children anymore); I think we'd have felt a bit cramped if we'd been unlucky with the weather and needed to spend more time inside the van to eat and play games (we put out the table and chairs outside whenever possible) but we were comfortable enough for sleeping and travelling in the van. The owner, Dale, and his son were really helpful with going through how to use everything when we collected Tofino, and with tips for a few places to park up to stay the night

Staying in Felix for Glastonbury was great fun and made it feel like glamping. Felix got lots of admiring looks and comments. Really well equipped and comfortable. Simon the owner, was really helpful and flexible throughout the whole process and responded really quickly to some of our newbie campervan questions! I'd thoroughly recommend a stay in Felix

I was concerned about a big van for my first van experience but as soon as I sat in the comfortable drivers seat I felt confidence in the strong engine , excellent wing mirrors and great ease of use of the motor. Inside the sleeping and living zone the style&simplicity was so well thought out. I loved every minute. It was warm enough, ventilated enough , the blackout blinds were excellent. Really comfortable stay . Bought a bag from the RNLI shop while on our mini break and it sums up the van life experience: 'With courage nothing is impossible.'

We had a fantastic stay in Tofino. I went with my 12 and 14 year old son's to Latitude Festival and the campervan was everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable

I loved Remi. A super comfortable, really well thought out van. Darren couldn’t have been nicer. The whole experience from booking, to paying, collecting and returning Remi was seamless. COVID stopped my first two Quirky hires so Remi was my first experience and I would definitely recommend it. Remi was perfect in every way. If I am ever lucky enough to own a quirky style camper, I would design it just like Remi. Thank you Darren, and thank you Quirky. I will be back for more!
