Brenscombe Outdoor Centre Ltd

I love coming to brenscombe with our year 6 but must be honest that I found it just a little disappointing this year. The amount of walking we had to do really ate in to the activity time for the children and I am not sure that the walk around brownsea was that enjoyable for them either. The bunkhouses and meals were lovely but there were a couple of staff members that could do with brushing up on how to talk to children. We had staff members that had never been before and I found myself telling them that is normally fantastic.

Had an amazing time. The instructors were so engaging and enthusiastic, the activities were well planned and had the right amount of down time.

I stayed with a group of 10 in The Farm House. The accommodation was exactly what we expected and wanted! Very clean on arrival, and lots of room in the kitchen and living room for our group. We also loved using the green space on the property to hang out.We also booked onto the Sea Cliff Climbing which was at Dancing Ledge (very picturesque location!). Our instructors, Laura and Ewan, were great fun and very good teachers, this made for a really enjoyable session that I would recommend to anyone!Everyone in my group enjoyed the weekend and we've all talked about returning for another visit soon - thank you!

I went to brenscombe outdoor centre for my gold DofE residential, and it was great, I had lots of fun and took part in lots of new activities, it was a really good experience and I would recommend it to anyone doing their gold DofE or anyone who just looking for a new and fun experience

We took an A Level Geography fieldtrip to Studland, staying at Brenscombe which was great value for money, an exciting adventure with quirky bed arrangements! We had a fun stay for two nights.

Great location for a corporate event, the team are very knowledgeable and help make the day fun and interesting

Had a lovely time staying in the dairy bunkhouse. Perfect for an active break with extended family!There are 2x rooms with bunk beds; a room with a small kitchen area with a good sized fridge freezer, table that can be extended to fit 8 (picnic tables outside, though!) and a couple of sofas as well as a fireplace (didn't try it out, as it was August!). There is an inside toilet, with a private shower block (2× showers and 1x larger loo) just round the corner.It is a half hour walk into Corfe (with a v good bakery) just over the hill, with good access to other footpaths and a brilliant view of the castle. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back another time!

My son went on a school residential trip at Brenscombe Outdoor Centre recently. He had the best residential trip he's ever had and as a wheelchair user in a mainstream school that's pretty special and unusual. The staff at Brenscombe were exceptional in every way. Great thought and preparation went into our visit. We had careful and timely discussions before we came to stay and as a result everything went perfectly. The accommodation was thoughtfully adapted to our needs and we were able to access everything we needed on site. The food was plentiful and very nice and all the on site staff were friendly and kind. The activity staff were brilliant in every way - they truly cared and wanted my son to have an experience that matched that of his friends - and he did. He was able to do every single activity planned for his stay and the attention to detail and safety for him and everyone was exceptional. The staff were fun and cool with the kids and respectful and responsive to the adult guests. I can highly recommend this activity centre and wish them all the very best - they have a great team and make the most of their stunning location with creative and imaginative activities for all.
