Yorkshire repoints

Very pleased with the job Luke has done repointing the stone front wall of my 1900s terrace, replacing the crumbling old concrete with lime mortar as it should be, and the work he carried on the chimney stack too, where I was previously getting some damp inside.He explained what he'd be doing clearly in advance and again as he went along, keeping me posted with progress. All mess was cleared up when the job was finished. He even painted a first floor window sill I couldn't reach.Will happily use Luke again when the back wall needs doing.

Luke was very professional and friendly. He is clearly very passionate about what he does which shows in the quality of his work. He removed all the render off the back of our old cottage and did a fantastic job cleaning the stone and repointing in lime. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone and will definitely use his services again. Very happy!

Really happy with the work carried out by Luke & Conor - lovely thoughtful chaps who got the (very messy!) work done & cleaned up after each day so it wasn't too impactful on us as the work got done.I also really appreciate that Luke made sure that we knew that we needed to have a specific type of mortar & that he'll be coming back to repoint around our windows when they get replaced.

I had a wall repointed by another contractor only 4 years ago. But after this year's frosts, mortar was already falling out. Luke diagnosed the problem and has redone the whole wall to proper professional standards: ground out to 20mm+ and filled with the correct mix of mortar. His prices are competitive and he is very communicative. Pleased he was able to fit my job in at short notice. Would definitely recommend.

Luke of Yorkshire Repoints repointed our entire old farmhouse in lime mortar, removing the old incorrect cement from previous repointing. Excellent communication from start to finish. Luke and Joe did a great job re pointing the entire rear elevation of our mid-terrace house. They removed the old paint to expose the brick work and pointed in lime mortar and we are really happy with the end result. They worked really hard, were conscientious of our neighbours and tidied up at the end of each day. We would definitely recommend them and will use again when the front of the house needs doing.
