I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience I had at King Driver Training! My instructor Micheal was incredibly patient, professional and skilled. He provided me with all the knowledge & confidence I needed to pass my driving test on the first try with zero faults! The lessons were well-structured. Excellent company. Karl was extremely helpful in setting up the lessons and fittings my daughter in. Michael was an excellent instructor. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Really understanding towards my anxiety, made me feel at ease and let me learn in my own way and time. He was honest and upfront about when I was and wasn’t ready and due to this I passed first time. Excellent driving instructor- I highly recommend :)

Karl was literally amazing !!!!My whole experience with King Driver Training was exceptional. He was so patient with me and my lack of confidence on the road.I told him I was quitting at least 13583 times a month but he still powered through and ensured I was test ready.He went above and beyond every time we met up and even sat with my whilst I cried because I failed my 1st test over something stupid !!!And because of him gorgeous gorgeous girls get their driving license in 2022.Cannot than you enough Karl ! You really are the best !!!

Karl is a great driving instructor, I had previously had another driving instructor who had over complicated simple steps and made the idea of driving tests and driving in general a long, difficult and stressful process. On the first lesson with Karl, he helped me start from fresh, had a talk about things in driving that were making me stressed and simplified everything that needed to be simplified. About a month and a half of lessons (and a moved test) later, I passed with 4 minors. I really would recommend him, he’s one of the ones that want you to be a good confident driver and not just good enough to pass your test. The growth in confidence and ability that I got from lessons with Karl was rapid yet helpful and thoroughly impactful and about 2 weeks before the tests I knew that I would be okay to drive on my own. He took time out to talk me through stress coping mechanisms, sent me resources and supported any ideas I had to keep myself calm on the day of the test. Through every lesson he was very calm and patient with me, I never felt like I was being spoken down to and it was clear that he actually cares about every individual student’s progress - for example, one of my biggest problems were people I had never met before being in the car on test day so he brought along his colleagues twice to my lessons so I could be more comfortable with it before I went to test. Overall would really recommend him, if he had been my first driving instructor I think I would have passed a lot quicker.

Very professional, down to earth, matt clearly knows what he's doing glad I chose to go with him each lesson was spoken through properly never any miscommunication ,very reliable thank you for all your help

Karl is an amazing instructor, he is calm and friendly and genuinely cared about me being a safe driver and not just learning to pass my test. My first lesson i was very nervous but he answered all of my questions and eased my anxiety. He follows up every lesson with a lesson summary which is very helpful in knowing what to work on outside of lessons. Coming up to my test we did some mock tests where we worked through my faults to ensure that i didn't make them again. Every lesson was relaxed and fun. I passed my test with Karl's help and i can't recommend him enough!

Thank you so much to Micheal who helped me to pass my driving test on the first attempt! I am very grateful to have had him to help me challenge the roads around Exeter. It would have been a struggle for me to practise driving in Exeter but luckily he was available to pick me up from the train station and drop me off after every session which was very helpful. I have had a great experience with him driving in Exeter which really boosted my confidence to pass the test.Thank you so much!!
