The Groom Room Consett

Thank you to Karen (phyllis) for her kindness and 110% service. After work she delivered my cat litter to me when online ordering were out of stock but the shop had some in. Thank you so nuch - star of the week.

So disappointed in The Groom Room , Consett - I rang 9:16 to apologise I was running late for my 9am appointment for my dog (late due to having 3 large dogs one who is unwell/sick and a child to deal with on my own as partner is at work) and I was told to not bother coming up and that I’ll loose my deposit for this appointment, even though their cut off point is 9:20 (twenty mins late) and worse case scenario I’d be there 9:22.My partner went in and managed to get deposit back (travelling from work he managed to get there for 9:26!)I understand appointments etc as a business owner my self, but not everything is black and white, especially for a customer who tries to get a dog in there every or every other month for at least a year now. There just was no underdertanding or compassion, they literally spoke like robots reading off their T&Cs.(Ps I’ve never been late before!)Clearly they’re not short on customers so don’t care. - I have no issue with the staff in there, they’re always lovely but ‘the boss’ made wrong decisions today.

Always very friendly and my dog Loves going. The de shed treatment is brilliant.

Ella loves her visits, staff are friendly and attentive as always with her. Can be challenging to get booked in but its the same in most places nowadays

Nice clean space and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. We’ve had 2 puppy grooms so far to get our pup used to grooming - she’s quite timid but the staff are so lovely and gentle with her and listen to your requests.

I always bring my little dog here, service is second to none. The staff are always so nice and they do a brilliant job.
