We had a total replacement of an existing bathroom done with Stratos Building Services. There was unbelievable attention to detail. Every member of the team who worked in my house were professional as well as polite. We could not be happier with the final results. We were also given some useful money saving tips at the beginning of the process.

Stratos carried out some work for us at the start of 2022, creating a bathroom upstairs by dividing a bedroom, installing a new boiler and removing a chimney breast. We are delighted with the outcome, their friendly and professional approach, and it was great having them around whilst they were carrying out the work! They also managed the project to a tight schedule ahead of the imminent arrival of our baby. We would wholeheartedly recommend.

Stratos have been great. They did a lot of building work for me, including creating 2 new bathrooms (necessitating lots of new plumbing work including external), forming a pitched roof where there was previously a flat one), installing new opening with French doors and removing a corridor to form a larger bedroom. Decorating all new areas and also making good. Their workers are considerate, hard working, and conscientious and the owner is full of integrity and extremely diligent. Highly recommend.

After my father passed away it no longer became feasible for my elderly mother and severely disabled sister to live without additional assistance so it was decided an annex (in effect a self contained flat with accessibility prioritised) would be the best solution. I met with multiple builders (with Stratos being the first) but what impressed me about the team from Stratos is the time they took to understand what we needed rather than just blindly following the architect's plans.Terry and Jeff, who built the shell of the annex, spent an hour on their first visit taking measurements and taking us through the options. Not only were they keen to understand how we would be using the building, they were excellent at explaining the pros and cons. They were not only diligent, courteous and professional they actively ensured we were getting the best deals on the materials. Jeff found out there were imminent price increases so we ordered them immediately. While we had a large amount of insulation and timber in the garden it saved us around 20% on the cost of the materials. Their level of commitment was illustrated when on a Sunday I received a message from Terry who was concerned about the height clearance when the wiring had been installed. Terry managed the situation and thankfully it worked out but that level of care and consideration is something I’ve rarely experienced. On a side note, on the few days they were not able to attend they were brilliant at making sure we had plenty of advance notice so we were not left wondering if anyone would be arriving that day.Mick who designed and installed a very challenging plumbing system was also amazing. The theme of ensuring complete customer satisfaction was continued here. At every stage Mick ensured he understood what was required and how that might impact the long term use. Given safety was a key concern his advice helped us avoid multiple issues along the way. It wouldn’t be possible to talk about our build without mentioning Mario, he was fantastic and made sure everything looked fantastic too.I’ve yet to mention probably the most important person out of everyone, Caroline, whose excellent communication, tenacity and incredible organisational skills meant what should have been an incredibly stressful time was actually completed with the minimum of fuss.Paul, who was super friendly and also took a keen interest and made sure we were happy, has assembled an amazing team. Their expertise, foresight and ultimately the quality of craftsmanship was superb, especially during the lockdown in 2021. I have worked with numerous tradesmen but the team from Stratos are up there with the very best.

We thought that using a local building company will be the best option . With Trusted Traders we felt this was a good company to go ahead with .In total we had 3 project managers, increased costs of works during the project from estimated 70K we ended at 100K .But now after living in the house we have noticed many defects and mainly our UFH and newly laid porcelain tiles moving . Over 40m2 of tiled floor has cracked grout everywhere and many moving tiles .Paul Startos , the owner has promised to fix the floor. 6 months later we are still waiting for this to be done .I shall remove this feedback if the floor is actually fixed .

You’ll be in good hands! Stratos Builders have undertaken 2 flat renovations for us. It was such a relief and so reassuring to secure their services for the 2nd project, and they will always be our first port of call for any further building or renovation work. Their care and attention to detail is phenomenal. Can’t recommend them enough.

We've used Stratos extensively over a number of years and always found them reliable and great to work with. They did a load of structural work on our house, and then did the rebuild afterwards (new floors, custom made cupboards, installing new lighting and a mirror ball).They're collaborative and nice to deal with, and the quality of their work is always great. Really helpful and professional builders. We had an emergency, our kitchen ceiling collapsed and Paul arrived within 15mins to check if it was save to access the building. They did a very thorough job fixing it and were reasonably priced. Thank you! Highly recommend

Stratos transformed our garage into an office and utility room, as well as replacing our kitchen. They were very transparent about the costing, and made suggestions for improvements and cost savings throughout the project. The workmanship was excellent, and the tradesmen were always polite and professional. We are very happy with the result and highly recommend them.
