At least 7 of these reviews are from Ideal Care Homes employees or their family members which I feel is a little disingenuous. As the son of a former longer term resident at Hambleton Grange I can say that, whilst Mum had some great times and many of the carers and staff are terrific, her stay at Hambleton Grange was not without issues. Based on these experiences (which varied from very good to very poor) we feel a 3 star ranking is appropriate.

Hambleton Grange is a lovely place for your relatives to live. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. They Will always go Above and beyond. The home has such a huge variety of activities on offer. I always look forward to visiting the home often.

I am a trainer for Ideal carehomes and get to visit all the homes from this region down to the midlands. I am always given a very nice warm welcome to Hambleton by their Front of house manager and all the staff. The place is lovely and clean and always feels like a nice place to be. Always enjoy visiting this home.

Spent two weeks doing my training here before I start work full time. It’s a lovely place full of friendly staff that are willing to help and accommodate you with anything they can. I’m very excited to start working here.

My partner worked here for years, they loved every single resident dearly, they had good relationships with both residents and family’s of the residents but the staff and so called management are disgraceful, unsupportive and do not care about how they should help or support the staff to make the home work better, they will just continuously pile more shifts and hours of work on the staff without any cares as they will not do any help on the care side. They worked 24 hours shifts when there was no staff, they worked day and nights without a thankyou. Thankfully they got out before it’s obviously got much much worse there.

My mum works at Hambleton Grange. I’ve been too see her while she was at work. Everyone who works there were really friendly and the residents looked very happy and were all smiling. My mum really enjoys her work and always looks forward to going to work

My husband has just become a permanent resident after having a month respite. It is spotlessly clean, bright and happy place, with happy friendly staff. No unpleasant odours and all food cooked on site with plea try of choices. At a sad time it's good to know my husband is is good hands.
