Proper old school pub. Great prices... Like 1.80 great! 70p pool unlike other pubs in this area. And there isn't a 'this our pub' vibe by the local patrons. Everyone is really good and friendly. Likewise you can also grab a seat and happily sit alone without being bothered. Fantastic

Old fashioned pub. No TV no music old fashioned games like bar billiards. If you want want entertaining start chatting to people. Cheap good beer. Sorry no food unless you include crisps. Sammy Smiths house.

Typical Sam Smiths pub, no nonsense approach good beer at sensible prices but little else. Clean tidy, has many original features and multi rooms. A gem for the pub historians.
