Louise is extremely knowledgable, skilled and kind. she listened and talked me through each step and gave me a variety of options. My hair is very thick and long (not the easiest to deal with) and Louise made it look easy. I was also very impressed with stylist Ellie. I’m so beyond happy with the result thank you!

This was my first time going to Lou-Lou’s and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. Danielle took the time making sure I felt comfortable. I had full head highlights, cut and blow dry. I have finally found my forever hairdresser. Thank you so much x

I had balayage done at this salon on 13th January at 3:30pm. I'd researched this salon, saw all of the good reviews, looked at their instagram etc so thought i'd found a new hair dressers after moving to the area... unfortunately, this was not the case.I paid for the balayage package number 3 for thick/long hair. I'd gone for a consultation/patch test the previous week. The girl who did my hair was really lovely and sweet. I think she was 100% pushed for time and just didn't do the balayage correctly. As can be seen from the photo, I was left with extremely orange/yellow hair, which had very poor colour placement. I felt rushed out on the Friday evening and thought I'd look properly at home as it could've just been the lighting. Was horrified to see how orange/yellow it was when I got home. Decided to go straight back on Saturday morning approximately 7:50am. Said it needed to be toned down and I wasn't happy with the colour. The owner saw it and other more senior staff and they agreed it needed to be toned down - they put a toner on but this really didnt do much and I still had to attempt to tone it multiple times at home. Not much else was done to rectify it and i felt rushed out - I do think a full recolour should've been done or at least a refund for the balayage. The girl even asked me if i wanted to book again(?!?!?!). It's not until I've finally had my hair redone properly that you can see how bad it really was. For the owner and staff members to be OK with a client to be unhappy with their hair and to walk out looking like this is unacceptable. Avoid. Please note, a lot of at home toning was done to even get it to the state it was in the photos attached. (No refund at all was given).The reference photo I used was very cool toned. I said to the hairdresser, I don't mind if it's a bit more of a caramel but she insisted on going more cool toned. Then I am left with this.... an extremely poor colour and even poorer attempt to rectify and apologise.

The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxing. My eyebrows treatment was top-notch, and I left feeling refreshed and pampered. I can't wait to go back for another visit!

I had the best experience with Skyla. I told her what I wanted and she did exactly that. Even took the time to put more foils in my hair to give me the colour I wanted. I will definitely be back.

From the moment I stepped through the door and into the seat my stylist was extremely welcoming and kind. She explained the processed throughly and did so step by step. At no point did I feel awkward or uncomfortable with the silence. She asked for my opinion on colours/treatments/ideas and made sure I was happy with what was going on.
