Yes! The perfect butcher's shop! Taking high quality meat, dry-aging it for a good amount of time (but not too much), and then skilfully butchering them into attractive steaks. Simple, but rare.I'm a huge fan of steak and steak cookery, but I don't do it very often so when I do it I want it to be perfect, and the team here were patient and helpful with me and my indecision.The pork and lamb looked equally as delicious. They have an amazing beer and wine selection, and top veg choices too. And northern rye sourdough! I think I've found my heaven, and it's in Heaton. Can't wait to go back.

We have been a few times and the quality of meat is excellent. They also sell eggs, bread and a few other things. The bread we got recently was one the best I have tested in this country! Overall great little shop!

I would've said one thing, and one thing alone, which would have been delicious.But then again i thought people need to know this: when you plan on spending a weekend indoors, pampering yourselves with fine wines and beers, and fine meats, if living in Newcastle or nearby this is DEFINITELY the place of choice.MeatBeerLifeI couldn't have said it better myself.

I have just ordered my second lot of smoked middle bacon , which apart from being difficult to find in my part of the country, is simply the best I have tasted , added two lots of streaky too

The quality of the beef completely exceeded my expectations. The steak had a nice marble with an even better colour and when I cooked it to a medium-rare the sear was lovely. The staff were friendly. If you haven't already you should give this place a try.

Been here a few times for meat. Everything we've tried has been wonderful. It's now a must go place for me. Ribeye steak, old spot and italian sausage, lamb chops, chicken, old spot chops and steaks. Everything top quality and so tasty! Really friendly service from experts!

Fantastic service, trimmed and prepped a beautiful cut of fillet after my specifying it was for a Wellington. Results were fantastic.To top it off, had some great draught beer while it was being prepped. What an amazing store :-)

Fantastic selection of beer and meat from a knowledgeable and chatty couple.I'm yet to be disappointed by anything I've bought, the meat is really excellent.It's about time someone opened a shop where you can buy the 2 most important things on your shopping list.

Fantastic butchers, I highly recommend! I went in after some Italian products and was surprised to find more than what I was after! I got guanciale as I’ve been after it for ages and was shocked to see finocchiona in the fridge. The quality of the meat is amazing! You must visit.
