Great Venue for Proms in the Park 2016 (August 19th)The singer had silly little flags when she sang Rule Britannia, so I gave her mine. Look for 'before' and 'after' photos!Great night, lot of fun, lets do it again next year.HUZZAH !!!

As managed by the Parks Trust, which looks after roughly 6,000 acres of green space, including Campbell park and the amphitheatre is a great outdoor venue having many events in the summer months and was lucky to go this years MKF tribute bands weekend, end of August.You can get great views of who is on the stage performing by sitting on the grass banking surrounding the stageI have been to many events over the years at the amphitheatre with fond memories enjoying the entertainment with the occasional picnic with my wife.Even sitting on the grass banks when there are no events is a relaxing thing on warm summer or autumn days.

Lovely area to walk around.Keep an eye on upcoming events - many sites listing event dated.No public toilets.If you want to buy food/drink there is a budgens shop next to it or you could walk to the xcape or theatre district.
