Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt, das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, die Duschen und WC's ebenfalls, die Lage grossartig und überraschend ruhig ( Zimmer zum Innenhof, perfekt!) . Frühstück war umfassend, Buffet mit Toast, Marmeladen, Joghurt, Müsli und stets frischem Obst! Ein Juwel in bester Lage! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We have just returned from Allen Hall, our third visit. Mark, who greeted us was very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were super (bring earplugs if you want the windows open and dislike traffic, although a fan is provided). The continental breakfast was grand and we had the dining room and reading rooms to ourselves. The building is so spacious and you can visit the gardens and chapel. A super place to stay at a very reasonable price.

A rich religious historical background/site which was owned by St. Thomas Moore who resides here with his family and was beheaded at the Tower of London for the faith.It is a massive mansion house around 110 rooms, distributed on 4 floors, a large wonderful garden with a Water Fountain and seating areas, a large temple and a medium size worship place has been used for Catholic faith seminary, a theology college and in addition part of this premises been used as a non-profit bed and breakfast/guest house with a very reasonable price during summer vacation. Highly recommended secured and safe B & B.A peaceful, heavenly place to be.
