Auglish Stone Circles and Alignments

Unexpected and interesting local rural landmark.

Very mystical and a lovely view

Multiple low standing stones across two fields. Several circles within which are multiple other stones, and some linear features apparently pointing at a cleft in the nearby hills.The site can only be accessed by a single stile on Rallagh Road which, as of October 2018, was in some disrepair with missing steps and slippy moss growth. The gate by the stile can just about accommodate one car. Larger vehicles or multiple vehicles will need to park on the wider Banagher Road.

We couldn’t find this, despite driving really slowly up and down the road

Low lying standing stones in a peaceful field..apart from some sheep. Get off the road and head for the radio tower on the brow....just below that you should trip over the stones. Great place to tarry a while
