Please be careful before you start a cooperation with this company. Don't be fooled by huge money". They say everything beautifully but then you'll be disappointed.1. They provide a daily mileage payments £200 - £400 in the ads. But probably they forgot add it's a gross payment

They’ll lure you into to coming to their office for an interview, then charge to £65 upfront, tell you a bunch of lies, then as you leave, you’ll get a whole list of things you’ll have to pay for before you start, up to £1400. I got scam the the £65 and cancel after I got the list!!!! DO NOT WORK FOR THESE CLOWN!!!!

I applied for an interview last september but then realised that they are really awful to work for so I turned them down. They just booked me in this morning (1 year later!!) for another induction which obviously I declined Again. This firm is obviously having issues. Steer clear!

THE MOST HONEST DRIVER AGENT REVIEW ON THE INTERNET;I’ve been working for Driver agent for a while now. Personally I love the job.Firstly it’s not unreasonable to have to pay for a Vetting check, ANY DELIVERY COMPANY in the country are legally required to carry one out, due to the likely requirements of visiting for delivery’s schools/Hospitals airports. So don’t listen to any review angry with a £65 vetting fee. P.s there almost never free. It’s only £12 to set up your own business, UNLESS you want to pay driver agent to do it for you (cost £70)…well of course they’re going to make a profit, you’ve just decided to hire them to set-up your business after they’ve told you it’s £12 D.I.Y and given you the website to do it (Company’s house) so why are others complaining, when they clearly say it’s £12, here’s company house website, unless you want us to do it for you it’s £70, personally I just paid £70 I was happy to, they weren’t hiding anything, I thought “yeah I’ll pay the extra £58, then I know it’s done properly.”ANY COMPANY IN THE WORLD will charge you if you hire them to do something for you, so why is driver agent being slammed for it?Then there’s the £500 van lease deposit.Firstly it’s REFUNDABLE.Secondly £500 to the first person to name a hire or lease company anywhere in the U.K that let’s you hire ANY motorised vehicle for at least 24hours without paying a REFUNDABLE deposit. It’s standard practice.I’m sorry but these one star reviews are so unfair is actually sad, because many people are missing out on a great opportunity here, I mean from week 3 I was taking home NET PROFIT £850. Earning around £1,750 per week (6 days)You can’t theoretically do 7 days as you start (From my experience) at 10pm on Sunday, so I don’t class that as working a 7th Day, when it’s 2hrs before Monday morning. So I’m short, people who have never had a vetting check before and never hired a vehicle before don’t realise these are NEVER FREE, driver agent has to PAY REAL PEOPLE at a 3rd party business to carry out these checks, and people act like driver agent have just made a free £70 profit, that’s not a true statement. The £70 business set-up, we’ll do it yourself. The £500 deposit, you get it refunded when you give the van back, it’s the same anywhere you rent a vehicle, so I’m confused why that’s a reason for a loss of stars let alone in a few cases the sole reason for a 1-Star review. Then you have to pay £258 upfront for the first weeks rent on the van, okay well what’s wrong with that, I mean you honestly expected to just turn up pay absolutely nothing and walk-out with a 2year old van worth £25,000?Actually I had to pay £500. No…we’ve been over this, that’s a refundable deposit that you will receive 100% of when you return the van. It is not profit for the company they do not use that to buy new vans or repair old ones, nor pay staff wages. It sits in a separate account it’s not the companies money it’s yours, unless you damage the van. Which considering no-one who left a review understands how any rental anywhere in the world works, you have to pay for damage to the rental vehicle out of your deposit. If you get a speeding ticket and refuse to pay, this comes out of your £500 etc. So no it’s not a scam. You also have to sign a document stating you understand how a contract works, and that you agree to lease the vehicle for at least 28days paying £258 (Inc VAT) every 7days at least 4 times over. You also agree that if you start a new rental period you must pay for the entire 4week cycle even if you return the van early, if you don’t like it, there’s no point in finding a new rental companythat isn’t a “Scam” because ironically enough every van leasing company in the UK charges a refundable deposit, first weeks rent upfront except they will only offer a 12month contract lease, where if like in one of the reviews you give the van back on day 2, you’ll have to pay 12months or 52 payment of £258 not just 4 payments of £258

This weirdos are an absolute scam, don't get even near them, they will attract your attention with high pay wages and they will trick you to pay for their rented vans and insurance and after they don't even answer their calls I have an friend who needs to recover 1500£ from them and he will bring them to the court because they refuse to pay him.

Avoid, avoid, avoid! These people are total con artists. At the start I was ok, I was working 6-7 nights a week so I was getting the good runs. Then I met my wife and started wanting weekends off here and there. Oh how they changed. I was working away from home Monday to Friday, and I’d be lucky to break £300 while living in a van. They don’t pay you round trip. You do a run from say Coventry to Glasgow. They’ll pay you for that run. But, an entirely different return load the following day, they say it’s a back run and no pay. Yet, you are the one still paying for the fuel and the van etc. they say the pay there is pay for both runs - they’re getting paid twice for the runs, but they’re only paying you for the one job while the running costs of everything come out of your pocket!

Hi. I've found your advert on Reed and tried to apply, but it's taking me to a calendar to book a date at an office in Birmingham. I'm in Glasgow, surely there is a way to apply remotely rather than taking a near 600 mile round trip? (Especially on today's fuel prices). I own my own van.The last couple of driving jobs I was just simply to email my documents to them and then start. Please advise. Regards, John.
