E & J Beynon & Son - Eastern Slade Farm

If you want to pay a lot and have all the facilities and lots of other campers around you don’t come here. If you want peace and quiet, are self contained and want stunning views and superb value for money then this site is perfect. Kate is very welcoming to this lovely quiet site. I stayed for 2 nights and couldn't be happier,just what I wanted. You'll need levellers as the field slopes and as the instructions say, you'll need to turn in the farmyard to access the site. Lovely walks from the site to Oxwich, Horton and Port Eynon, the dog had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

Basic but quiet site with fabulous sea views. Close to several public footpaths so a great spot for exploring the area. There's a shop within a mile and a pub 1.5 miles away.

Quiet pitch, beautiful views. Bottom field was reasonably level and has a great view of sea, top pitch is no-go for tents as it's on a steep slope! portaloos were really awful. If you can stand not showering for a couple of days and holding your nose and closing your eyes going to the loo, then this is a lovely spot for camping. Lovely walk to oxwich along the coastal path, fast walk back along road. Hotel and other amenities in oxwich bay have exorbitant prices , so BYO to the beach ( though it was nice to use clean toilets at the seaside)

Beautiful area very well looked after perfect place for a wedding, handfasting etc, would recommend highly.

Really nice back to basics campsite with great walks to be had, the beach area has both sand and rocks so the best of both worlds, and the owner is helpful, informative and lovely to chat to, we'll be back I'm sure

Stunning view, short walk to the bay, near the next village (bus routes, pubs). Clean toilets. Woman who runs the site, Kate, is lovely and would go out of her way to help!Great base camp to explore the Gower and bays. Definitely will go back for future camps!
