Ideal Building and Landscapes

New 50 sq. metre patio installed by Sam and his team. Arranged through noroguetraders so given a quote along with two other suppliers. They were not the cheapest but were reasonable and could do the job in our required timescale.Sam asked us to go and see and select the optional paving slabs quoted prior to installation and this was useful.They were punctual, polite, hard working and skilled in not the best of weather. They removed the old patio all by hand and installed a new extended patio including a new drain and levelling the whole area. The finishing and cleaning up with both the patio and drive being jet washed was so pleasing. I would not hesitate in recommending Ideal Building and Landscapes to anyone considering a new patio.

I really recommend Ideal. They transformed the back of my garden from the eyesore mess it once was to the lovely relaxing area it is now. See my photos, its hard to believe it is the same place. I am so happy with it. They were all very professional, Sam provided a lot of sound advice, Dom and Phil were very helpful and they were all very approachable, hard working. We’ve been searching for the right company to undertake the work we wanting doing after our new conservatory was built. After many weeks of visits and quotes, none of which we were happy with, we visited a garden centre and asked for their advice/recommendations and they pointed out Sam the owner of Ideal Building and Landscapes who happened to be at the centre the same time. Sam agreed to visit us and survey and quote us for the work we wanted doing. We trusted Sam and decided to proceed with his company. Sam sent his team - Dom, Phil and Adam to undertake the work and wow wow wow what a transformation was made to our very tired 21 year old patio which they replaced with porcelain tiles. We are well over the moon with the finished work and would thoroughly recommend Ideal.

Ideal carried out two jobs for me:The first was to lay slabs in my back garden and erect a greenhouse a few day later.The second, as a follow up, was to relay my lawn. This involved removing 15 tons of old grass and topsoil, laying a mowing edge and putting down fresh turf. This was done quickly, efficiently and to a good standard. I would recommend them.

I live in Kings Norton, Birmingham and watched this company do the driveway for a neighbour and I was impressed with them. I know a good job when I see it. I invited Sam the owner to give me a quotation and I took to him straight away and found him very friendly and honest. They did block paving for me on my driveway and then some work tidying up my old concrete slab patio area with smart new block paving and laying some new steps further up the garden for me as the original ones were crumbling. Jason laid the block paving and showed such attention to detail. You can't go wrong with them and I will be having them back in the summer to do the fencing but need to save up first

My daughter recently had a large new porcelain patio, brick wall and steps built from Ideal. The garden has been transformed thanks to the brilliant team and to Sam suggesting ideas. They are absolutely delighted with the outcome. Jason and the team completed the work to the highest standard and were very clean and tidy. Sam was always available to deal with any queries and the job was completed on time. All rubbish was taken away and the front drive was jet washed showing no trace of works being carried out. Would highly recommend Ideal to anyone looking for a top quality job.
