Worked with Gary for about 2 years now on level 3. His knowledge knows no bounds. Started in the welding industry with zero knowledge and experience and now I am a coded welder with some quality fabricating experience. I wouldn’t have got anywhere near where I am now without Gary’s teachings. Truly a man of stature in the welding world and a pleasure to work with.

Having used Elliott since changing from our previous supplier it has been a breath of fresh air to have an incredibly reliable and honest service. (for a change) On more than one occasion he has got me out of trouble.He keeps in constant contact to ensure all our deliveries from gas, welding supplies and PPE are here and we don't run out. Making my job as stress free as possible. :) A+ service would recommend to anyone

Scam to take the government's money rammed as many people in as the could with only 1 trainer there was no 1 on 1 coaching you was just left to it. I never received my certificate and although they tell you they will keep intouch and help with jobs thats a lie massive scam

Back in October I contacted Betterweld for some welding consumables , which soon led into a conversation about my lack of Tig welding knolwledge .Turns out this was about to change rapidly.Elliot sorted a great deal for me on the consumables and Gary, bursting with enthusiasm sharing his storied years of welding training experience, arranged for a crash course of tig tutoring .I spent a great day onsite with my own Jasic rig, which saw me achieving my first tig welds.All Thanks to the team at Betterweld , deservedly, the go to guys for all things welding related in Derby.

Having done a 5 week welding course with Free2Learn in Hackney. I found gary and the other instructors very good to work with. And very knowledgeable. But disappointed in that i have not heard from them. Even though i left my email address so they could get in touch...

not happy at all there is no organisation not a care in the world they just wanna cram you in and squeeze you out.i had to contact the derby company many times and never received contact back.its been over 3 months and still not received my certificate. i will have to keep contacting them before i get anywhere that's if i do.major improvements needed and more professionalism.
