We just returned from a week's stay in the Cormorant cottage. This was our second visit in 11 years and was once again absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend! Margaret and her husband were very welcoming and thoughtful. We had twin babies and a toddler and she'd carefully set the rooms up to meet our needs. The house was extremely well equipped right down to having your own washing line and pegs! The surrounding views are breathtaking and the beach is only a 5 minute walk. We saw deers, bat's, hares, cows and their baby calfs, sheep and baby lambs. Honestly cannot wait to return. We won't wait another 11 years Margaret! Many thanks again.

Absolutely the best we've stayed in. So much so we are coming back in the Summer and next Christmas. Beautiful location, absolutely stunning.

Home from home. Such a wonderful place for a holiday. Quiet & relaxing with superb views and only a short walk to the beach. Margaret & Doug are fabulous hosts and they ensure that you want for nothing and that you have an enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

An absolute treasure of a place. We have holidayed twice here in consecutive years and will be back again. A short walk from the quiet beach and beautiful bay, this is a place of great peace and quiet.Not far from Kirkcudbright and its facilities and in an area reknowned for its walking and wildlife. The cottages are scrupulously clean and very well equiped. You can tell I'm a fan, but I assure you its a wonderful place for a holiday any time of year.
