Essentially Christmas Decorating

We have been using Essentially Christmas Decorating for a couple of years now on a retail arcade. They always provide excellent customer service and have been able to work with us (and our budget!) to bring some Christmas cheer to the businesses there. We would highly recommend their services.

Friendly service, Jilly is very passionate and very talented with a great eye for decoration. I highly reccomend Essentially Christmas not just for the festive season but all year round for any occasion!

I booked Essentially Christmas to set dress a Christmas shoot. Jilly and her team were great, they were very quick and efficient at setting up and packing away. I was very happy with the end result and would highly recommend them!

Jilly and team are amazing, friendly & professional and more importantly communicated with us throughout the entire process. Our Christmas tree and decorations look fabulous. Collating all the elements were not easy, therefore we wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU - you pulled it off perfectly.

Jilly and her team set up some beautiful garlands and a gorgeously decorated Christmas tree in my home the first year that I hired them.For the second year, I informed her that (as an agreed option) I would keep the tree etc. after installation rather than paying for storage. There were several issues:- the tree decorations were different to those I had chosen and loved the previous year; Jilly did come by a few days later with other ornaments and some berry garlands, but they were still not the ones that we had originally agreed would be supplied.- I noticed that the garlands had been restrung with lower quality lights; I raised this and she offered me only one set of string lights for 3 separate garlands. She said she would return with more, but never did.- I had decided to put my tree in a corner of the room rather than the window, and it was only upon dismantling it in January that I noticed the back half of the tree had not been decorated at all. I sent pictures to Jilly, and she told me to contact her again later in the year to sort it out. I did not press the matter further, as I knew she had struggled with Covid and the after effects in the run-up to Christmas.- When I did contact her a few weeks ago, she said she would send me a price list, which I found confusing, as I had paid the full amount for decorations that year. She has since ignored my messages trying to understand what has happened and why I didn't get the same number or type of decorations from one year to the next. It was very disappointing, as there were such lovely things that I was so excited to keep in the first year. My advice is to keep everything after the first install!

I had wanted an exterior tree decorated with lights for years and eventually achieved this with Essentially Christmas Decorating. Very friendly service and delighted with the result.

We were delighted with the complete door decorations, Jilly really captured our wishes with a perfect and unique display. Everything went to plan and we received so many compliments from friends and family. Will look to use Jilly again during the year, not just for Christmas again.

Jilly & team are a pleasure to work with. From the moment of enquiry right through to a last minute addition delivery, Jilly and her team were responsive, respectful and focussed on getting things right for us. The decorations are high quality and beautiful and the team did a great job of installing them securely. Jilly was very accommodating of a late request to add table setting foliage to our order and went out of he way to deliver them late at night.
