Meadowsweet Croft

For our wedding, we coincidentally stayed next to Nicola's croft so we were able to visit her in person ahead of our wedding day. She is extremely dedicated and wanted to make sure that the bouquets we requested complemented our accessories (shawl and tie).We absolutely adore the idea of not knowing what the bouquets will look like, as Nicola only makes bouquets from what grows in her croft. Therefore, what you get will depend on the season and what is available at the time!Nicola is also very environmentally-conscious and does not use pesticides which helps immensely with protecting the local environment.We picked up our flowers in the morning of our wedding day and we were completely in love with them! They had turned out even more beautiful than we anticipated (thank you so much!) - I ended up pressing some after the wedding to preserve them!10/10 would recommend Nicola to anyone looking to support an extremely talented and eco-friendly, local florist.

The flowers were beautiful, well presented and every care was taken in their delivery. We loved the attention to the important things, like the flowers were not treated with chemicals or preservatives, contained no single use plastics, and were grown locally here in Skye. Meadowsweet is 100% recomendable over any commercial florist/supermarket!! Nicola reminded us why we love to support local and independent :) Thank you!

My wife and I had Meadowsweet Croft as our florist for our wedding at Skeabost House.And we couldn’t have been more impressed! We were so happy by how the hotel got completely jazzed up by the fantastic array of flowers provided that were completely seasonal to the island.If you are getting married on the Isle of Skye we would definitely recommend!

Over-the-moon happy! Nicola was amazing. Not only was she responsive, helpful, professional, and friendly but on top of that the flowers were amazing! My bouquet for my wedding was the most beautiful I have every seen. The flower comb was stunning. The photos are beautiful! (In the group photo, all the women have wrist corsages, men have boutonnières, the two girls have flower crowns - all from Meadowsweet Croft!)

Nicola is one of a kind. She is heavily concerned about sustainability and the environment when growing her gorgeous flowers. She also has a great eye for what looks beautiful and natural — she always allows the flower arrangements enough room to be seen and enjoyed as much as possible. Her style is never overdone, it is effortless and elegant. It was a joy to have her as our florist and she made everything so easy over email and was up to the task even with very short notice. I highly recommend Nicola and cannot stress enough that she stands out from the rest.
