What a breath of fresh air to visit a retailing establishment that not only treats each customer with individual attention but also bend over backwards to facilitate their requirements. Whether it be a watch battery replacement or a engagement ring, Alex has consistently exceeded mine and my friends and families expectations x he is genuinely a diamond amongst the rough!

In November 2022 I lost the diamond from my engagement ring (solitaire) but the next morning, miraculously found it! Alex charged me £250 to replace the claws & reset the diamond. However, to my dismay, the diamond came out after just a few weeks…nowhere to be found this time round… Happily, Alex agreed to fix a replacement diamond for me - no charge. He acknowledged how disappointed I’d been to lose my original diamond for a second time. Well done, Alex, for approaching the situation with respect, empathy & professionalism. Having your wedding ring made can be stressful especially when time is limited. But from the very first visit Alex made us feel so comfortable and reassured that the task was in the right hands. We wanted to use our own gold with sentimental value to make the ring and he guided us through the entire process making sure we were completely happy. And yes we were very happy with the result, the ring came out beautifully with a lovely colour despite being made of different bits of gold and it only took a couple of days.Alex clearly has a lot of experience in his field, this will be my go to spot for all my jewellery needs.Cannot recommend enough, thank you!

Top notch service. I took my 50 year old ring into the shop, it had been repaired a few times at other shops, but kept repeatedly breaking. Alex not only fixed ot, but strengthened it (not offered by others) and reshaped it to perfection. Very knowledgeable and approachable. Highly recommend this place.

Popped in on a whim while passing by, and had a 20 year old yellow gold ring re-plated in rose gold to match my other jewellery. Alex was super friendly and knowledgeable, and the ring was finished in a couple of days. Looks brand new and I love it. Thanks!

I took a ring in to sell. Was offered £200 for the gold value alone as was told the 24 small stones weren't real diamonds. I took it to another shop, where the owner proved they were diamonds and gave me £800 for the ring. I have previously sold some jewellery with Alex but never again. Be careful.

Alex converted a diamond and sapphire ring that I don’t wear into a pair of lovely stud earrings and the most beautiful diamond pendant. He gave great professional advice and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. Furthermore, I traded in the old unwanted gold items I had in part exchange at a very acceptable rate. I’m really delighted and would thoroughly recommend using Alex’s services.
