I would not recommend this company. I ordered a light from them & when it arrived the box was badly damaged, as you can see by the photos. I didn’t unpack the light as it was too big & I just wrapped the product back up in plenty of bubble wrap & returned it to the company. All returns have to be paid for by the customer. A few days later I received an email from them stating, when they received the light it was damaged & I had to claim through the courier I had used & I wouldn’t be getting a refund from them. I replied stating the box was badly damaged When I received it & sent them the photos. As I didn’t unpack the light & hadn’t taken any photos they said it wasn’t their problem & the light was damaged by the courier I had used. I asked them to send me photos of the box as they had received it. It was no more damaged than when I had got it & advised it was obvious no further damage had occurred by returning the item. They still wouldn’t budge even after logging a complaint. Bitterly disappointed, because I hadn’t checked the light before I returned it, they are sticking with their policy that no damages had occurred when the item was delivered to me. I know what their response will be to this review, so please think before you order from them, I have photos as evidence & you do not need to be a rocket scientist to see the damage occurred at delivery. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Do not order at this company. They send of used and damaged products. The paint of the 1st owner is still on the lamps and scratches are on the actual ligjt bulbs. Besides that the entire inside packing was ripped open and my entire house was full of all the white packing. When reaching out to customer service they claim they only send of new products, which as you can see in the below photos is clearly not the case.They however have no intention of replacing the product for a new one and want us to send the lamp back on are own expense whilst they send of a faulty product.Do yourself a favor and DO NOT ORDER AT IDEAS4LIGHTING.

I was really worried about ordering from ideas4lighting because of the latest poor reviews they were getting, mainly due to badly packaged items etc. We ordered the Console Table from them anyway because we simply couldn´t find this table anywhere else in stock and available. Online ordering was easy as well as the regular updates per email. The delivery date given was for January, but I received a phone call today from the courier to say he would be with us in 40 Mins......Good job I was in.I had to help the courier transport the palleted table to the front door. He took off the initial shrink-wrap packaging only to find that the package containing the glass top had been damaged. This seems to be a continuing problem looking at the reviews. He said we should open it to check it. He said if it is broken, he would take it back. Luckily, the glass was not damaged due to the Styrofoam packaging within the box.The main cardboard package was in a wooden framed box. The courier helped me into the house with the crate but said he didn´t have tools to open it but he would take the pallet back for me. All other packaging and the wooden crate I would have to dispose of myself. He was a nice guy! He did also state that the larger package hadn´t been opened and therefore could not be checked for damages......Alarm bells rang!The wooden frame was screwed apart and the cardboard package opened. The table was light and extremely well packed. The electrical plug was indeed a European 2-pronged plug which needs an adapter. The table itself was in great condition.I´ve just returned from the recycling centre after my car was packed full of all the various packing material that came with the delivery. The wooden crate was pinned together so a large sledgehammer did the trick.Extremely happy and relieved that the table arrived safely, the general overall experience with ideas4lighting was to be recommended. I would, however, have been happier buying from a company with a few more 5-star reviews.... hopefully with this review I can start a positive trend. Thanks guys.

AwfulExperience from the time I ordered as I was ordering via their so called UAE website! There’s no one to talk to ! I tried the Ireland number but they don’t take calls! The delivery was super late and I was tightly worried that it was a scam and they’d taken my money!The lights arrived late and I had to pay extra duties and delivery charges! Though delivery charges were meant to be covered in the purchase cost!Anyhow just opened them and 3 out of 6 lights are broken and unusable! It’s so obvious they sent me damaged lights as they knew I would not be able to return to get a refund!Never order from this company again! They are a fraud!Should have realised this from the start when I couldn’t cancel the order online and the message on my order kept saying I had to pay when I had already done so and the money went out of my PayPal account!There should have been alarm bells when they said their payment link isn’t working and that they would send me a PayPal link! When I contacted PayPal, they said that my purchase was for re-selling and so they couldn’t stop the transaction! The lights are for my personal use in my garden!These guys have figured how to con people.., so please be aware when they ask to pay by PayPal!I really don’t think this company is going to refund me the money even if I were to send the lights back to them from dubai to Ireland!Order number WEB86680There was also no reference to the 10 day return policy anywhere?There was no paperwork with the delivery!Of course I get delivery times can vary!I’m not sure how you propose to replace these broken lights? I’m out of pocket by more than 3000 USD!Even if I paid my PayPal or direct on the website, the goods should have come intact! After having paid the web order by PayPal, it kept showing ‘no payment made’, however after a few days!I think you seem to be coming up with excuses!

PLEASE READ!!! This company has the worst customer service I've ever encountered. DO NOT do business with them. Just look at the other reviews!I tried to return my lights but they got returned to me due to some customs mistake. I re-shipped the package with no changes at all and Ideas4lighting received it a few days late due to the mishap. A reputable company would consider the details here and honor the refund but not these guys. They cling on to their technicality for dear life. Meanwhile I'm out the initial $465 cost of the lights plus the $125 shipping charges. Imagine the pettiness of a company that refuses to budge on this issue. There are too many good honest suppliers out there to waste your time and money on this ridiculous company. Look elsewhere.

Horrendous experience. My elderly father was delivered a faulty item which also did not match the product description/images, and they told him that he had to pay to return it - and that they did not believe it was faulty. When he chased, they accused him of spamming them and that they would block his communications. Left with no option but to lodge a chargeback with his credit card company. This company should consider the relevant regulations in the UK as they aren’t following the basics! Awful.

STAY AWAY!!Horrible customer service. Items take weeks to be dispatched from their warehouse, and then you will be charged a huge custom duty/tax (>25% of the items price) upon the arrival of the items in your country (in my case, Australia). They know about such hidden charges and hide them in pages behind small links at their website, while they can easily let you know about these charges at checkout based on the country you are ordering from.Like many other online shopping platforms, they could add a note at checkout (below other charges) like this: The country of destination may impose custom duty on the items you are ordering

They will not refund an item by using the excuse it’s on sale (even though the item isn’t on sale) … Then they won’t post the item back or let you collect the item, they say you must use a courier or your item gets ‘destroyed’ after 7 days. Clearly it’s a policy used to increase their profits.

I'm disgusted. I bought a brass indoor ladder and 12 days after ordering I had to chase them, twice, for delivery information. When it arrived it was scuffed, broken and unusable. I want a full refund.This company replies to every comment saying that they're a small family run company. My dad ran a small family company and didn't' sell broken goods or rip people off. Have some respect, do the decent thing and refund me.
