Foxton Hall
Lovely place to visit and play golf at Alnmouth Golf Club with is part of Foxton Hall. The hotel is very nice and the rooms have been upgraded since last year to include and on suite bathrooms. The whole course is in superb condition and the spectacular view onto the sea and beaches is the icing on the cake.

Great spot for coffee and cake. Try it mid-morning and the cake is sometimes still warm.Later in the day the real ale is rather nice.Fuller meals available too, I believe.Nice sheltered seating outside if it is sunny.Very handy for the England Coast Path.Located in the club house of the golf course but open to the public.Very reasonably priced.

Nice looking course and in good condition but at £70 a round ,and very busy we decided it wasn't for us !!

Foxton golf club rose garden is a nice place to sit and have a drink/ snack/ meal on a coastal walk with a dog or just call in on a drive. Not dog friendly indoors so it's weather dependent. Good menu from breakfast through to afternoon tea and cake. Friendly bar staff and other people, usually golfers!
