Having been previously dis-satisfied at the beginning of lockdown last year when I received no complimentary coffee with my service for my 13 year old lancer I am pleased to announce that I amvery satisfied with the sales process and collection of my Shogun Sport. I felt the process was straightforward and honest. I was updated during the sales and delivery process and the communication was excellent. I ordered many options for the vehicle and this was managed well, with all items ordered being in place and fitted. There was no pressure and the options were well explained in a way that benefited me as a customer. Sales staff were patient and accommodating to my somewhat limited availability due to work.This is also my partners first car and she was very impressed with the process and the car and she was not treated in a patronising way as in some dealerships. Options and equipment of the vehicle was well explained.Unfortunately due to Covid-19 there is still no complimentary coffee however this is a health and safety risk assessment issue and out of the control of the sales staff.

I can’t recommend the care and attention I have received from the first time I entered the showroom last Sunday afternoon. I was greeted by the salesman Alex White.I explained I was interested in a motability scheme vehicle.After a few questions he showed me what cars would best fit my needs. On leaving the showroom he gave me the brouchers on the cars and the contact details of whom I needed to speak to book a test drive. I made my test drive appointment and was greeted by Alex that day and he took us for the test drive. He was very knowledgeable about the cars and was extremely professional. So having made my choice of vehicle we sat down to do the paperwork. We meet his manager Ki Ellwood and again he was both knowledgeable and helpful.I am so looking forward to the day I can collect my car, but wanted to take the time to express how I was cared for by staff from the moment I stepped into the showroom to the moment I left looking forward to collecting my car.Ms T Finch

I've recently had a really positive experience with this dealership. My car went in for a recall on the wiper drainage system which was carried out in a couple of hours. Unfortunately I noticed a crack in the windscreen the following day. I phoned the dealership and spoke to Nick on the sevice desk, explained the situation and he arranged for the windscreen to be repaired with no quibble or fuss. Obviously they looked the car over and checked that it was plausible that the crack could have happened during their repair of the wipers and when happy that this was the case, they replaced the windscreen. Great service and handled in a thoroughly professional manner. Thanks Nick.

Friendly and efficient.Mitsubishi have considerably reduced the number of dealerships in the U.K.This is no longer a dealership, it is just a service center. They lose a star for this.

Great service throughout the whole buying process. We were offered a great price as a trade in but managed to get a bit more selling our vehicle privately.The hand over process was slick with everything being explained in detail.Well done to the staff at Glyn Hopkin Mitsubishi in Colchester

Awful.Had a recall for airbag and since have had persist related problems and they will not take responsibility for it. However twice they did offer 10% discount, on labour and parts, which I refused. I refuse to give just over £300 to them for something that they repeatedly claimed was a coincidence.On two occasions they carried out a visual service, when trying to fix the original recall fault which I didn't ask for. They tried to make me get the work done for a ridiculous amount of money. I got quoted half the price at other garages. Also a leak in the steering rack costing over £900.00 needed replacing (apparently), in fact it was merely weeping and advised by other garages that it was ridiculous and just needed patching.Basically, they have had to do something for free and tried to make some money somewhere. I feel for people that may get sucked into their tactics.Avoid in my opinion, drive the extra milage to elsewhere.

I spoke firts to a salesman who didn't call me Mate or by my first name;I asked about viewing a car at about the time my satnav said I'd arrive, no problems;Without being pressured, I was given the information I needed to make a decision, so I bought the car...Thanks Mike.

Purchased my car through Glyn Hopkin in Colchester and found the process, stress free with no problems and no pressure to buy after the initial contact.A very high standard of customer service, which made my job so much easier.Thanks for all your help!

I trust the car maintenance was good. A couple of little issues like car not washed. Body work issue not picked up. Maintenance alert reset not done although ticked.
