After several negative experiences with other architects, we were recommended KDB Building Designs by a builder.From the beginning Kish and everyone at KDB were professional, pleasant, capable, knowledgeable, and responsive. In fact my wife and I have used KDB for 3 projects that required detailed plans and planning permission from 2 London Boroughs.First a loft conversion in Camden. The second a two storey rear extension and loft conversion in Brent. The third a summer house in our garden, in Brent.Kish has a great team of professional people at KDB. All were friendly and provided a professional and dependable service throughout. Kish and his team are well organized. They were always reliable and punctual with all site visits. All communications were timely, clear, and professional.We were impressed by the attention to detail, and promptness of the KDB team. They were excellent at communicating all changes that occurred, we were always up to date with the latest design. The KDB team were reliable and easy to work with and we were pleased with the fast, efficient service they provided.We had been considering extending our property with a rear extension and loft conversion for some time and had some ideas but were not entirely sure what the best way to go about this was.At the initial appointment we had an informal chat. Kish listened to our requirements and ideas and took notes and measurements. He told us what was possible and augmented our original ideas by new suggestions which proved better than we could have expected. Next Kish provided several designs options for us. Following further friendly discussions plans were promptly revised. Kish kept the whole iterative process of exploring and providing options to produce a final design simple and painless and nothing was too much trouble, in fact, Kish changed plans for us as fast as we changed our minds.He provided excellent and innovative design ideas and suggestions and some brilliant features. Kish was fantastic at problem solving and providing solutions to the trickiest of problems, his reconfiguration of the rooms was clever. He was always available to bounce any suggestions, ideas or challenges off or to discuss issues that arose.KDB provided quality drawings that were clear and easy to understand, I especially liked the addition of key pieces of furniture and people.From the start Kish was easy to work with and the design process was a conversation and two way exchange of ideas. He took our original idea offered innovative insights for the design and delivered a final design that we were extremely pleased with.KDB dealt entirely with the planning departments of Camden and Brent boroughs which was great and one less worry for us. KDB has considerable experience with these boroughs. They kept us fully informed of progress all along the way to obtaining planning approval.Once building work started Kish checked in on our project to make sure everything was going well and that we were happy.Our extension is now complete and we are absolutely delighted with it. Kish and KDB did a fantastic job of taking our original vision for our house and turning it into reality.I couldn’t be happier with Kish and his team and his team at KDB and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them for a fourth project.I would highly recommend KDB to both friends, family and anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional architect firm. I used KDB for rear and side single storey extension and loft, party wall agreement and building controls . They provided options of internal layouts. Kish and his team were brilliant and accommodating they provided support throughout the project .I would highly recommend using KDB.

I've used KDB twice now for design, planning consent and building controls services and both times have had a great experience. Kish and the team were always available for advice or clarification when needed, and their regulatory experience meant there's never been an issue with planning or building controls. I'd happily use KDB again.

We used KDB to design and manage an extensive building project. I found them via recommendation and they were fantastic from start to finish. Design ideas and drawings were spot on with lots of alternate ideas, planning and work with council planning was efficient and got the desired results. Every step from site monitoring through to finalising building regulations, could not be faulted. Highly recommended and will certainly use them again.
