Ward Jackson Park
Ward Jackson Park is a Victorian Park with associated splendour of that age.A valuable asset to Hartlepool and well maintained by the Parks department of the Council. Free to enter and with limited parking for those less able it provides a welcome to all.Large garden areas of lawn set amongst mature trees. Lovely planting and a lake with an abundance of wild life. Take the kids they’ll love it.

Nice place when sun is shining, daughter loves it here especially seeing the ducks and swans. 2 separate parks for older kids and younger. Wear older shoes as you will definitely step in duck or swan poo round the pond!

Lovely stroll, long time since I've been here, huge park. Loads to do and see if you're not made of money.There is plenty of space to have picnics or just sit and chat and watch the world go by.

Ward Jackson Park has a lovely cafe which is next to the children's play area. The cafe was well spaced and the menu was quite extensive from burgers to baked potatoes and sandwiches with a nice selection of desserts. I had cheesy nachos with fresh jalapenas and salsa for £4.95. It was very tasty with lots of melted cheese. Staff were extremely helpful and tables were cleared straight away and cleaned correctly. Would recommend. Food was well presented and cooked. Reasonably priced.

Firs time to the park didn't know that is close after 18.30 during winter. Wonderful place for a walk jogging beautiful landscape.
